The Boar is linked with the ancient Chinese element of water. Water is linked to the arts and inner expressiveness. Emotionally, water is associated with fear. For these reasons, they are prone to offending people.

Earth steadies the fluid element of water. It is a balancing medium for the boar. Those boars born in earth years are likely to lead safe, comfortable, and secure lives. Most boars suffer from fear and excessive caution, but earth boars are not beset by such problems. Consequently, they are more self-confident and assured than boars usually are. Earth boars are hardworking and resourceful. They tend to have great physical strength and stamina.
