1. The White SeeDs
________________________________________________________________________________
At the start of disk 3, return to Edea's house to speak to Cid and Edea. Then return to the garden to visit Rinoa who is unconscious in the Infirmary. But before you know it, you'll be back in control of Laguna and his group. You'll get into a little battle like the one with Squall and the paratrooper, except this time it's with a Ruby Dragon. Block it's quick attacks and counter with a quick attack of your own. When you beat it, you'll go down the hill but will have to face it again, but this time it will be a regular battle. Don't face it right away so you can adjust your junctions with all your characters. The Ruby Dragon isn't too difficult, but don't use any Fire or Wind elemental attacks as they will heal it. Physical attacks and Ice and Holy based attacks should make this an easy fight.
After the fight, you'll be back in the Infirmary. Return to Edea's house to get a letter that you need to take to the white SeeDs. So obviously, you need to find them. To find the ship, head north from Edea's house and through the little channel in the Centra continent. Turn to the right through an even smaller channel and right again at the opening to find the white SeeD ship. Talk with the Forest Owls on board and also the SeeD leader a couple times. After all the chit chat return to the Infirmary to check on Rinoa. If you got the Girl Next Door magazine from the Timber Maniacs, give it to Zone for free to get a Rename Card and Shiva Card.

2. Finding the Hidden City
________________________________________________________________________________
The quest through Esthar begins now as you cross the bridge from Fisherman's Horizon to the Esthar continent. When you're back onto the world map, head to the bluish colored canyon in front of you to enter the Great Salt Lake. The path through the dried lake is easy to follow, and you'll meet up with another boss on the way.
Boss - Abadon: This guy is a pushover as you are even told what works against him. Use Cure spells and items against him along with Fire based attacks. You can mug a Power Wrist from him or win a Flare Stone.
After taking care of Abadon, continue along the way and you'll come to an overlook where there's a grey "box" hovering in the middle of the screen. There's a hidden ladder running under that box. Climb it to go into the passage that leads to the elevator to Esthar.

3. Laguna's Visit to Esthar
________________________________________________________________________________
Once again you'll be in control of Laguna, but this time you're working on some control panels with another guy and a moomba. Talk to the security guards a couple times, and then to both of the other prisoners. Take the elevator upstairs and listen to Dr. Odine, and then follow him back down the elevator again. After the talk down there, go back up the elevator again and this time look on the bottom left side of the screen for the first Weapons Monthly Issue with all the information on the best weapons in the game. Use the brown switches to unlock the door that leads to where Ellone is being held captive. Find her and you will return again to Squall.
With Squall take a tour of Esthar to try and get a feel for the city as it is pretty big and complicated. You can also get some free items if you shop in some of the shops. You can get a variety of potions and also a Mega Phoenix from Karen's shop and even a Rosetta Stone from Cheryl's shop. It is random on whether you get anything so it may take a while to get what you want. When you're ready to leave, you can either walk to the Lunar Gate or rent a car for 3500 gil. Walking isn't a problem as you'll face mostly Mesmerizes, but you may also run into a Malboro, so be very careful if you walk. The Lunar Gate is located east of Esthar City and a bit south on the eastern side of the continent. Head into the building and talk with the workers there to make your way into the capsules that will shoot you up to the Lunar Base.
Now you'll be in control of Zell who's trying to gain access to the Lunatic Pandora that's going by the city of Esthar. This is where taking your tour of the city will come in handy. You'll get pictures of where the Pandora will pass by at certain times. You need to get to those spots when the Lunatic Pandora passes by to get into it. There are going to be random battles so the Enc None ability may be helpful. When the Lunatic Pandora passes overhead at the time, there will be a battle with some soldiers, so dispose of them quickly to get into the colossus. If you're not quick enough you'll have to go to the next checkpoint to attempt to board it. After you successfully get on, you'll be sent back to the moon with Squall.

4. Lunar Base
________________________________________________________________________________
Talk to Piet at the dock and then take Rinoa to the med lab. Follow Piet to the control room and take a peak at the monitor. Next you'll finally meet Ellone on the second floor of the base. Head back to the med lab to find something odd going on with Rinoa. Return again to the control room, and then head up to the second floor to find the locker room. Put on a spacesuit and try going out the airlock. It will close on you, so return once more to the control room. Talk with everyone and then to Ellone, and the base will be evacuated. As you're escaping through your pod, Squall will finally go after Rinoa who's floating out in space.
In order to make your rescue, you must line up Rinoa in the middle of the screen. You have a limited amount of time and a limited amount of fuel, so sparingly boost forward as you line her up. When you do get to her, you'll find the Ragnarok floating nearby to take safe harbor.

5. The Ragnarok
________________________________________________________________________________
Once on board, you may find that the Ragnarok is full of a pack of Propagators. They shouldn't be much of a problem to kill with physical attacks, and you can also draw Cure, Esuna, and Life spells from them. Getting rid of them permanently is a little trickier. There are four pairs of them, but you must kill them in those pairs. They are divided by colors: red, purple, green, and yellow. In order to completely kill one pair, you must kill both Propagators of the same color before entering a battle with another color. You should start with the purple pair by killing the one in front of the large doors at the bottom of the walkway as you enter. Enter the doors then and take a quick left to avoid the red one. Through that door on the left is the other purple one. Once that pair is done, go back to the right to take care of that red propagator. Head back to where you faced the first purple one and go up the stairs to find the other red one. Ok, two down, two to go. Now head back to the very beginning where you first entered the Ragnarok to find the first of the yellow pair. Go back through the rooms you have cleared and you'll find a green one. It's not going to move, so walk around it to the left and head through the doorway to find the other yellow propagator. Head back to the green one sitting on the lift to take it out. Finally, head back to where you faced your first purple one and go through the door on the right side of the large doors to find the final propagator. When the ship has been cleared of enemies, you'll have control of the ship. Head to the deck (go up the lift where a green propagator stood) and guide the Ragnarok home.
When you land back on Earth, Rinoa will be taken away to the Sorceress Memorial. But don't let that happen; head to the memorial to rescue her. After you leave, head to Edea's house and follow Angelo to the flower field where Rinoa and Squall have a chat. After this scene, return to the presidential palace in Esthar to talk to the President of Esthar, who turns out to be none other than Laguna! After you reach a plan, take a break before you go busting into Lunatic Pandora. Now's the time to get all your heavy duty magic spells and finish off the side quests if you wish to, along with getting your best weapons for your allies. See the Extras page for more info on that. Once you're ready, hop in the Ragnarok and fly right into the Lunatic Pandora to continue your quest.

6. Lunatic Pandora
________________________________________________________________________________
Entering the Lunatic Pandora will welcome a couple familiar faces.
Boss - Fujin and Raijin: Keep in mind the same tactics as from your previous encounter with these two. In other words stay away from using Wind and Thunder based attacks. Begin the battle by summoning Doomtrain that will cripple the pair considerably. Start by taking out Raijin first as Fujin has Curaga and Full-Life that you can draw from if you need to heal. She also uses a lot of support magic for herself and Raijin, so cast Reflect on the bosses, but just remember not to cast any spells on them or they'll bounce back to you. Fujin also has the Sai attack that reduces an ally to 1 HP. Quickly draw Curaga from Fujin or use the Recover command. You'll get a Str Up and Megalixir for winning. You can also steal a Power Wrist from Raijin, but you'll lose the Str Up.
Now for the fun of finding your way through the Lunatic Pandora. All the enemies in here are only at Level 1, so if you want to get any of the good spells or items, you may need to use the Lv Up command. Or just use Enc None to skip the battles as they are pretty much a waste of time. Head through the tube as you leave the Ragnarok and you will come to an elevator. Take it down and you'll be in a large room with three elevators. First go down and find a Meteor draw point. Now take the elevator on the left. Follow the path and go up when the path splits. Right after the split you'll encounter your next boss.
Boss - Mobile Type 8: Make sure you take this guy out as quickly as you can. When it transforms so that the three parts are separated, it can perform a move that will leave all three allies with 1 HP. If this happens, use the Recover command along with drawing Curaga from the left probe. Be quick as it will follow up with another attack that does about 2000 damage to your entire party. Use strong physical attacks along with Thunder based attacks to defeat it. You can draw Thundaga as well as Flare from the main body to use against it. Also don't miss out on stealing a Vit Up and Str Up from the probes on each side. You'll also get a Laser Cannon when you win.
Right after the battle, make sure you heal everybody as there will be another big battle coming up. Head up through the passageway for your final encounter with Seifer.
Boss - Seifer: If you have Odin, he will come and try to make this easy, but alas Odin is killed by Seifer. However Odin will be replaced in the future by Gilgamesh. This battle should still be easy though. Draw Aura from Seifer to cast on yourself (or stock if you don't have 100 for everybody yet) which will increase your odds of getting a limit break. He is weak to Poison based attacks, but physical attacks will be more than enough to take care of him. When you beat him you'll get a Hero or a Holy War if you're lucky.
