1. Time Compression
________________________________________________________________________________
After the battle with Seifer, heal again and return to the room where you fought Mobile Type 8. On the right side of the walkway a bridge has fallen down. Climb on top of the ledge and go up the bridge to a walkway high above. Go right and follow that path to face the dreaded Adel.
Boss - Adel:> Actually Adel is pretty easy to defeat. But the only thing you have to watch out for is that you cannot kill Rinoa. In other words don't use any GF's or magic that attacks both Adel and Rinoa. Start things off by drawing Regen from Rinoa and cast it on all three of your allies and on Rinoa. Occasionally Adel will drain some HP from Rinoa so you must make sure she has a plentiful supply of HP. So just use physical attacks on Adel and the battle should go by without fault. If you feel really adventurous, you can mug some Megalixirs from Rinoa, but remember you can't kill her or you lose! Also make sure to mug a Samantha Soul from Adel before you defeat her.
After Adel is defeated, Ultimecia will begin the time compression. You'll begin by going through a series of battles against some sorceresses. Use physical attacks for the first two forms of the sorceress and each time you attack they'll disappear and reappear on a different landscape. When the final form comes down, she (if you can call it that) will begin a countdown from 5 and will cast Ultima when the countdown reaches zero. So unload with everything you have to prevent that. Eden will make it much easier as well.
After the battles you'll find yourself back at Edea's house, but this time you're being transported through the future. Walk down the beach and to the big chain that leads to the entrance of Ultimecia's Castle. There are also three gateways on the sides of the chain that will take you back to the world map but at this point that's not what you're there for. Head up to the entrance to meet with all six of your allies and prepare yourself for the end is near.

2. Ultimecia's Castle
________________________________________________________________________________
At the start, you'll split into two parties: your primary party and secondary party. Don't worry to much about the junctions of your secondary party so just give everything to your primary party. You'll also notice that 8 abilities are sealed as you enter the castle. They can only be lifted as you defeat bosses within the castle. The boss battles are strictly optional, but it is a very good idea to defeat them all to get your abilities back or you won't stand a chance in the final battle. I will mention which abilities you should unseal after each battle listed below. It is also a very good idea to have your Enc None ability equipped to make things go a bit faster. Start by walking up the stairs in the front hall to meet your first boss.
Boss - Sphinxaur/Sphinxara: If you have Auto-Haste for everyone as I have recommended in my Extras page, you'll beat this first boss without it even attacking you. Use physical attacks (like you have a choice) and he'll be done in no time. You'll get some Megalixirs when he falls. You should also unseal your Magic command after this battle.
Before you move on make sure you have Elemental Defense set to absorb Thunder attacks. Of course if you've read the junctioning section on the Extras page you would have already had that all set. Walk through the doors behind where Sphinxaur stood. There's a large chandelier here that you'll walk across, but it will fall as you cross it. On this floor look for a door in the floor to open. Walk down to find the second boss.
Boss - Tri-Point: If you can absorb Thunder based attacks with all of your characters this will be another breeze. Tri-point will counterattack all of your attacks with a thunder based attack that hits your whole party. That's about all it will do but occasionally it will strike with a physical attack. Otherwise it's only going to be healing you with every counterattack. You'll get a Rocket Engine for winning and also break the seal on the GF command.
Head back up the spiraling stairs and go to the green circle on the right side. Switch to your secondary party and follow the same path your primary party went. Go to the green circle too and switch back to your main party. The lever at the switch point is also pressed so that the chandelier won't fall. So head to the left and walk back around to the entrance of the castle. Go up the stairs and across the chandelier. Enter the door on the other side and you'll find Krysta.
Boss - Krysta: Krysta will counterattack any magic or physical attacks, so make sure you stick to some powerful GF's for this battle. Since it won't counterattack using this method, it's not going to do much throughout the battle so it should be a pushover. Also Shiva has no effect on it so don't use her. Krysta will also use an Ultima spell as a final attack, so make sure you keep your HP high enough. You'll receive an Elem Guard when you win. It's also a good idea to get back your Command ability.
Now return to the main hall at the beginning and head through the door on the right side. Go through another room and you'll be in an art gallery. Note the clock on the floor and which Roman numerals the hour, minute, and second hands are pointing at. Next you need to go to all 12 of the paintings in the room and read the inscriptions on them. Then use the clues to figure out the order of the three words you need to put together on the big painting on the left side of the room. If you can't figure out the puzzle highlight the blank space between this paragraph and the next. Once you solve the puzzle Trauma will come out to play.
Painting solution: Vividarium et Intervigilium et Viator (In the Garden Sleeps a Messenger)
Boss - Trauma: Start things off by casting Doomtrain to weaken Trauma. Once this has been done Trauma will not last very long with physical attacks. He is weak to wind so use Pandemona, Aero, and Tornado as well. You'll win an Elem Atk from him when he dies. Also break the seal on the Item command.
Continue past the gallery and go down the stairs in the next room to find the dungeon. Go through the open door on the left. The door will close and lock behind you, but the key to escape is right there. But before you can leave the prison you will have to face the fifth boss.
Boss - Red Giant: Physical attacks will do almost nothing at the start so begin by summoning Doomtrain. After that physical attacks will do quite well. Diablos also works very well here. As with all the previous bosses up to this point, the Red Giant will fall pretty easily. You'll get a Diamond Armor for winning. You should also get your Resurrection or Save ability back.
Return to the main hall once again and go through the hallway on the lower left side of the room. You'll be back in the room where you fell from the chandelier, but now go up through the doors. Right in front of the fountain a bit on the left is the Treasure Vault Key, so make sure to pick that up. Continue along the path, staying to the left to go through the double doors. Go up the stairs on the right in the organ chamber and you'll get to a bridge. Walk (using the triangle button) across the bridge and pick up the Armory Key on the bridge. Now return to the dungeon outside where you faced the Red Giant. If the Armory Key fell off the bridge you can pick it up in the water on the right side of the screen. Now use the key on the door on the right side. Enter and you'll come across your next boss.
Boss - Gargantua: This battle will just start off by facing a Vysage, so easily dispose of it. After the Vysage is defeated, Gargantua will rise out of the ground. Start with casting Doomtrain to weaken its defenses. If you use physical attacks it will counter with an attack of its own, so stick to using GF's and magic spells. It's also a good idea to junction Berserk to Status Defense as he may attempt to Berserk you. And when this happens you can only use physical attacks which will lead to his counterattack. Also bring some Esunas for any other status effects he may inflict. A Magic Armlet awaits you when you win and you should also break the seal of the ability you didn't get back from Red Giant (Resurrection or Save).
Head back to the main hall again and go through the hall on the top left of the room. On the other side of the first pillar (that you can see clearly) on the left in the next hall is the hidden door to the Treasure Vault, so you will automatically use the key you found earlier to open the door. In this room are four boxes and your goal is to have all four open at once. The trick is that when you go to open or close a box, the ones immediately next to it will open or close, depending on whether they were open or closed to begin with. If you want to find the solution, again highlight the area between this paragraph and the next. Once all four are opened, you'll get into your seventh battle.
Treasure Chest solution: close the fourth box (on the right), close first box, close third, open second
Boss - Catoblepas: Once again start off by summoning Doomtrain. You can also summon Leviathan and Brothers, but do not use Quezacotl or thunder based attacks. Add this to your regular attacks and you should again be able to make short work of a boss. You'll win a Status Atk from him and you should also get back your Draw ability.
Return to the bridge where you found the Armory Key and go through the door on the left to get into the clock tower. Climb up until you come to a bell swinging in the middle. Go next to it and press X to jump onto it and it will take you to a ledge on the other side. Go through the opening where you will find the last of the eight sealed bosses.
Boss - Tiamat: Use Doomtrain again to shorten things up and use physical attacks to do your damage. It has a heavy duty attack called Dark Flare and if you let him spell it you'll feel the wrath of it. If you've taken my advice of junctioning your physical attacks should defeat him before he ever gets the chance to use it, so this boss should be another pushover. If you don't have good junctions though, you should cast Shield on everyone before he uses Dark Flare to reduce the damage it does. You'll receive a Status Guard for winning and will be able to break your final seal for Limit Breaks.
Once you've finished off all eight bosses, you now have the option to face Omega Weapon. See the Extras page for more info. Whether you go to face him or not, continue up the clock tower and follow the path all the way to Ultimecia's doorstep.

3. Final Battle
________________________________________________________________________________
Before you head into battle, refer to the junctioning GF's and abilities section of my extras page for more info on how your junctions should look like. Also make sure you've refined your Gilgamesh card into ten Holy Wars. It's also a good idea to organize your items and magic lists so that the spells and items you're going to use will be on top (holy wars, elixirs, and megalixirs for items; Aura, Curaga, and Full-Life for magic). Ok, when you've got everything all set, head on in for the final encounter!
Boss - Ultimecia: You will start the battle with three allies at random, so you're not going to have the three you have all your junctions set at. So what you should do is kill your allies that aren't of the three you want. Eventually they will be carried off and replaced by another ally. Keep doing this until you get the three you want. Now attack Ultimecia for a while and she'll go down rather quickly as she doesn't have very many hit points. She has an attack that she'll use quite a bit called Maelstrom that reduces everyone's HP by 3/4 and also gives some status effects, mainly Blind. When this happens use Squall to recover everyone and whoever has the Treatment ability to rid everyone of status effects. Once Ultimecia backs off she lets her own GF enter the battle.
Boss - Griever: Griever has three main attacks when he starts out. First is his slash which is just a physical attack. He can also destroy the magic spells that a character has, so be careful if it's one that is junctioned. Note also that this cannot be avoided or undone. He also can cast Doom on one of your allies and will, on very rare occasions, use the Maelstrom attack. If he casts Doom, use the Treatment command to get rid of it. Also start off the battle by casting Aura on Squall (and recasting when it runs out). Try and defeat him quickly if you can get off some good limit breaks with Squall. If the background starts spinning (after Ultimecia tells him to "make them bleed"), cast Aura on Squall again and use a Holy War as he is getting ready to pull out the Shockwave Pulsar which is bad if you're caught with it. When Griever bows out he will junction with Ultimecia for the next section of this battle.
Boss
- Ultimecia and Griever:
Boss - Ultimecia: Do the exact same thing as you did with the previous part of this battle with using Aura and Holy Wars (and Doomtrain at the beginning). Ultimecia uses a frequent attack called Hell's Judgment that will reduce everybody's HP to 1, so that's not something you want. If she does happen to use that while you don't have a Holy War going, quick cast your Aura on Squall and put up a Holy War. Then go about three rounds of using nothing but limit breaks with all of your characters, and hopefully you'll get a Lion Heart or two in there as well. After that use the Recover ability to get everybody back to full health before the Holy War runs out. Actually if you want, you could purposely get hit with a Hell's Judgment to use that barrage of limit breaks. Towards the end of the battle she will draw Apocalypse which is a very powerful spell. She'll cast it soon after drawing it so make sure you have a Holy War in effect for that. Your physical attacks and limit breaks will eventually wear her down and beat her.
