I looked for my car for about 5 months. It seemed like it took for ever to find an si crx in good condition. My crx was hit in the quarter panel and it had rust. I suggest that crx buyers should take thier time when they are looking for crx's to make sure the car is in the right condition. Be sure to check all the components of the car. This will enable you get the best price because if there are anty problems with the car, they can be stated to the seller.

I finally found a crx in the www.cars.com website. The car was listed for $2400. I thought that this was a good price. The car was in New Jersey. We called the seller to see if he still had the car. The seller had the car and we scheduled a time to look at the car. My dad and I took a ride to jersey a few days after the phone call. We got to the meeting place before the seller. When I saw the being driven by the seller I new the car had to be mine. The car wasn't in the best shape but I new if I got the car for a cheap price, I could hook the car up with the left over money. When we test drove the car, this is the first time I was in a crx. The car was fast and I had to have it. I talked the guy down from the original price $2400 to $1600. I gave the guy the money and a couple hours later I had a nice red crx in my driveway. There was a lot of work to be done with the car once I got it. The positive parts about the car is that the car had a new clutch put in and new exhaust 1" piping was put in the car to help it breath. When I was ready to start driving the car, the car had trouble starting. We didn't know why. We replaced the starter and the ignition. Still the car wouldn't start consistently. Finally we checked the battery. The terminals were corroded. We cleaned the terminals and the car started right up. Even though the car had a few little problems, I learned a lot from these problems. The car is running strong now and may things were replaced. This is something to consider when buying a 12 year old car.
