D'ni Pocket Dictionary

Shorah b'shehm!
"Peace to you!"

For anyone who has ever wanted to learn the language of the D'ni, (especially with the arrival of Uru) you know that there are plenty of online resources. However, at times it may be more advantageous to have a hard-copy reference: a "pocket dictionary" that you can take anywhere!

This dictionary is intended for just such a use, and it is easy to put together!

1. Print it out (11 full pages single sided pages, becomes 33 pages when cut)
2. Cut each page into thirds, then stack the pages in order, left to right, top to bottom. The dictionary has a cover page, next there is a cover page for the English to D'ni, then the english words in alphabetical order, then a D'ni to English cover page, followed by the D'ni words in alphabetical order. This is followed by a reference to D'ni grammar, the D'ni alphabet, D'ni numbers, D'ni time, and ending with notes and url links.
3. Staple, staple, staple!

Now you have a handy offline reference! I still highly recommend online resources such as the Guild of Linguists or Tay's D'ni Encyclopedia. This dictionary will not teach you D'ni, and is not indended to do so, but I hope it will help you in your exploration of D'ni.

Also, keep in mind that there is no official word list, and many words are not known 100%. These are indicated with a (?). Feel free to contact us with any further comments or corrections. As Uru Live continues, there will undoubtedly be more words appearing all the time and we will provide you with an updated list of these, so you can add them to your hard-copy.

Chehv ashehm!
"Thank you!"
