Most of my stuff has been updated in some way, as of February 9, 2009. Mostly with updated contact information, and the like.
Orion's Corner
Generic Resources
The Public MUDders License v1.0 - A clear and concise license that anyone can use for their MUD related materials, by simply filling out this file as necessary and including it with the relevant materials.
Can be modified as necessary, to add or remove restrictions.
Note: I am not a lawyer. This is simply a plainly worded license designed to protect the author's rights in as clear and concise a manner as possible.
SMAUG Compatible
The Elder Chronicles v8.00c - Replaces the stock news command in SMAUG with a more advanced version. Allows the editing of news online, etc.
This version includes HTML support as well: prints out and HTML file with the news (included are a default background and banner image).
For an example, click here.
The Chronicles Experience System v2.00b - Replaces the stock SMAUG experience system with a more advanced version. It keeps the same leveling exp per level as SMAUG, but it starts your exp back at zero each level. This allows for more levels and smaller numbers.
Group Replacement 1.01d - Replaces the old do_group function with one that corrects a number of issues in the code, that could be bad. It's also commented to "high heaven" so that those of you new to coding can use it to figure out what's happening.
Autoglance v1.10b - Adds a configurable option to have a character automatically glance at the target when fighting.
Practice System v1.00b - Updates the practice system to use more than one practice point per skill.
Set Command v1.02b - Allows for the leader, and only the leader, of a clan to set the number1, number2, deity, and badge of their clan, without having to have an immortal do it for them.
Classes v1.00b - Simple command that lists all currently installed classes. Very simple installation.
Races v1.00b - Simple command that lists all currently installed races. Very simple installation.
Player Refresh v1.02b - Upgrade that refreshes a player to full health upon leveling. Can easily be modified into a new command for immortal usage, as well.
The Chronicles Startup System v1.10a - Replaces the older startup system used under most Diku derived bases with a more powerful version. This script appends core information to your log files, and renames them to .crash to make bug fixing simpler. It moves your core file to the src directory, as well. This script also kills itself if there is a process already listening on the port you've chosen.
The aforementioned feature may need to be adjusted on some systems, however. To do this you need to examine the output of the 'netstat -an' command, because some systems separate the port from the IP using a '.' where some use ',' and yet others use ':'. I will not help with doing this, as this change is EXTREMELY simple. If you do not believe you can handle that one modification, do NOT attempt to use this script.
This version includes a simple adjustment to make it easily usable to restart the MUD if it crashes and at reboot.
Others' Corner
SMAUG Compatible
Racic's Charge Skill Snippet v1.00 by Racic - Based on Rantic's Charge Skill, this is an attack skill. Allows players to 'charge' into their enemy, when mounted and wielding a lance. If the opponent is mounted they may be dismounted.
Immortal Badges v1.00 by Skandranom - This snippet replaces the drab old badge seen on the 'where' and 'look' screens with any you choose for any of your immortal levels, in this snippet it uses the same tags as in the wizlist, but that's easily changed.
OLC Hint Module v1.00 by Chriss Baeke - This package will allow the option of giving your users hints and tips, differing for each level as you choose. They are fully configurable online, and will save over reboots.
MPSleep v1.00 by Rasmus Brosboel - Allows a program to pause without freezing the mobile or the player executing the program.

Just added the proper meta content for the pages. Other than that, nothing to report at this time.

The Areas page has now been updated. All pages are now converted to the new design and appear to be working properly. If you notice any problems, feel free to e-mail me.
With the SSWRA's facelift complete, I don't know how much more I'll do with the site beyond what is here. I'll likely update if anyone contributes, but I wouldn't expect much from me, personally.
Hopefully you'll get some use out of what is here, at the very least.

I just finished up the Code Snippets page. Updated all of my snippets, mainly to provide updated contact information on there, as well. If you have something you'd like added, feel free to e-mail it to me.
Will be starting the Areas page shortly, after which the site will be completely updated to the new design.

Yes, there have been three updates today. There could even be more. Moving on...
The whole of the SSWRA has been updated and converted to the new design, save for the Code Snippets and the Areas page. I currently have some things I need to get done, so I'll try to come back to those later today or tomorrow.
I meant it when I said I hoped to have it all done by the end of the day. May still be tomorrow, though. Depends on how things go.

The new site design has now been tested in IE7, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Safari. Everything appears to be working, so the template design has now been moved over to be the site's main page
The home page is the only page converted so far, but I hope to have it all done by the end of the day. If not, I'll try to have it finished by tomorrow.

Started testing and bug-fixing the new site design. I may not do much with the old site anymore, but I figured a nice facelift might at least make the place a little more tolerable.
Internet Explorer is being a bit stupid in how it renders the page, but anyone with any web development/design experience knows that isn't too unusual.
I've heard that IE8 is going with HTML 4.01 Strict as the default setting, and that it will actually be complying with the appropriate standards. Some reason I doubt it, but maybe MS will actually come out and surprise me.
But I digress. Just wanted to let people, if any actually still visit here, know what was going on.
A Long, Long Time Ago...
Nothing new. Sorry, people. I don't do much, more like anything, in the community, anymore.
