Some tips that might help you when you are a ...

Freshman – The 1st year is usually a period of transition. Basically freshmen know too little about their new environment. They are the biggest targets of scheming upperclassmen. So remember to be observant and inquisitive without looking too naive. Don’t bite the bait yet. Don’t join the first organization that shows goodwill to you (Especially during orientation sorties). Be a little wary because some organizations might not be what they say they are.

Sophomore – The 2nd year would be a good time to join organizations. A whole year in campus would be a good gauge to see which organizations actually do what they say they do, which groups get into the most fights and which has the most gorgeous guys and gals.

Junior – Your 3rd year in school should ideally be dedicated to extra-curricular activities. This is the best time to be active in sports, organization or student council activities. Extra curricular activities teach you things that you don’t usually learn from books. It helps develop the other facets of your personality. It can also show future employers of the diversity of your personality and your ability to balance your time.

Senior – Now is the time to concentrate on your studies. Most of the time, people(employers) don’t always look for people with high grades. They don’t just choose people with excellent grades. They look at the development and improvement of a person. So even if you don’t have good grades during the early stages of your studies, if you show that you improved during the latter part of your studies; you can show your improvement, your dedication and your ability.

5th Year Student - If you are taking a five year course then you can treat this as your Senior year. If you are taking a four year course and you’re on your fifth year, then you should be a little bit more serious now.

6th Year Student - Hey !!! Are you taking up Medicine or Law??? If not… Well its not yet too late but you should start thinking of your future baby…
