Well today was certainly interesting. We held the ritual of protection of dreams at Wall Hall today. All the Tremere in the middle forming the central core with the rest of the Court around outlining the Circle which Claudio opened. Everything was going fine and then, for the us Tremere anyway, all hell broke loose.Ishmael the Assamite turned up. It was all a mass hallucination but that didn't matter. He still managed to kill Annex, poor boy. He lost his arm and then his head. Claudio fell in a pit. It seemed like a nice safe place so I joined him. Not a good idea, he trapped us. However, realising it was all a hallucination, we managed to elevate ourselves back, thank God.
We were just in time to see Annex die. Now we have no regent. There was not much time to worry about that however as Jimmy, the Tremere with the dreams, was fighting the Assamite. Never have I seen any vampire move so fast. They seemed to be passing right through each other. It made me feel quite ill. Then Ishmael just disappeared.
I came round to discover myself and the rest of the Tremere on the floor and the rest of the Court still watching. Now I would swear the whole thing lasted a good half hour. However on speaking to Meredith and the new Toreodor (I still can't remember his name) the whole event lasted a few seconds. Apparently we all fell over, twitched a bit and then got up again. The only signal anything really odd had happened was apparently a blue energy leaving the circle.
Then everything went back to normal, as much as exists in this court anyway. Iona went for Claudio after he tried doing something disgusting with the remains of Annex. (What I'm not sure but I'm convinced I don't want to know)
Oh and Jimmy/Ilvane is dead. After the ritual thing we headed back to the bar, then something happened, what I don't know but Toomy and Johnny went after the person who killed their ghouls and then the Arcon killed Ilvane. I assume that he had taken over Jimmy and so he is dead as well.
Oh dear, what a hectic night. I was also talking with the new Toreodor. He seems nice. I have given him my email address and I may give him my phone number if i decided he could be useful. I shall see.
Ah, sun-up is coming. I should go. I wonder what will be the consequences of these events next week. We shall see.
