Ferdi is dead. I have discovered that this is why he is not talking to me. Silly really. He's not even Ferdi, although he still won't tell me who he really is. Apparently he feels that as he was Ferdi to me for so long that it should have made some impact greater than he observed. Therefore this week I am in mourning for the loss of Ferdi. Luke has agreed to hold a wake with me for him. With any luck this should satisfy Ferdi's desire and start communicating again. Seems like its working so far.Speaking of Luke, he has just declared himself Prince of Radlett and Oldham. There is actually a really good reason for this. In the words of the vamp himself:
"We should be doing more to spread disinformation amongst the Sabbat as
they have been to us. By declaring myself Prince will imply a chism where
none truly exists, giving us an advantage over the Sabbat. It also gives us somewhere to run should things become too hot in Hatfield"
Wise words. There is also a chance that I could get Primogen. Maybe. I do hope so. Even though it is not true power it will give me something to work on. Always start small and work up, as my Sire used to tell me.
Nothing much else to tell other than that. Isabelle had me checking the others to see if they were really her sire. I also was asked by the Prince to ascertain the truth in some of the newer members of the court, Morning Star (Toreodor. Tananka is asking if she would like to join the Empire), Isabella (Not sure what she is, didn't ask). Both were here last week. There were also two others who were passing through. Johnathon Meades and Susan something-or-other. Neither said much. Got the feeling they knew the area though.
Oh and Lenina's dogs ate her baby but the silly thing thinks it escaped. Luke nearly got me into trouble with Iona over that. Told Lenina straight out that her dogs had eaten the child. Iona got all stroppy as per usual. I on the other hand was trying to be more subtle. Trust Luke!
Oh and on a final note, the Prince has left for the next month, leaving Peyton, the Blind Nosferatu in charge of the court. An odd choice if you ask me, but I suppose the Prince must have his reasons. However, I don't fancy entering any sewers for an meetings our stand-in prince may wish to hold. Dead rats never did take my fancy.
