Cheerleaders clap, they look like ducks.

stunt, tumble, scream, and fly!

I only cheer on
two occasions...DAY and NIGHT

Running
|
|
It's very hard in the beginning to understand that the whole idea
is
not to beat the other runners. Eventually you learn that the
competition is against the little voice inside you that wants you to quit
|
|
Runners just do it - they run for the finish line
even if someone else has reached it first
|
|
Running has given me the courage to start,
the
determination to keep trying,
and
the childlike spirit to have fun along the way.
Run
often and run long, but never outrun your joy of running
|
|
If
you set a goal for yourself and are able to achieve it,
you
have won your race. Your goal can be to come in first, to improve
your performance, or just finish the race its up to you.

You
know you're a swimmer when you can only ever buy one style of goggles because
all others don't fit the permanent goggles marks on your face.

Swimming is a sport, everything else is just a game.
|
You
know you're a swimmer when you see nothing wrong in saying
"I'll show you my breast, if you will show me your fly. "
|
The
swimmer who says it can't be done,
is
lapped by the swimmer who is doing it.

Swimming is the only sport where you go from
point A to point A and work like hell to get there.
|
There is nothing like the smell of chlorine in the morning
and
the smell of victory in the evening.
