Capital Market in India - Project Map

The project describes in detail the equity and corporate debt market, that provides corporates to mobilse equity, preference shares and debentures from the market, i.e. public subscribers. The various facets of the capital market, the role of the market regulator, SEBI, the stock exchanges, the recent developments like online electronic trading from points remotely located, the advent of depositories and virtual holding of shares and bonds, the various formalities and procedures involved in raising public issues, the host of intermediaries with thier respective roles are all discussed in the project under different modules.

Indian stock exchanges have two segments, one for trading equity stocks and the other for derivatives trading. This subject, i.e, trading in derivatives in discussed in another project.
