Asante Gold - Informal Trade/Exports

Asante Gold

Asante gold is one of the mainstays of the Asante economy.

Here's one (direct) export marketing approach - here's another one - here's a method that uses e-Bay as global marketing and payment media. It includes live hyperlinks to "HowTo e-Bay".

It cannot be emphasised too much, that if you aren't a well-heeled multinational with 'friends' in high places, e-Bay provides a cost-effective alternative to being either rejected by or dependent upon 'aid' givers who can easily become your worst enemies because your commercial success could subvert a 'protected' interest.

If you can't use it for any reason - possible impediment(s) can be related for example to : Africa's (cultivated) dreadful blanket reputation in all areas that are banking/money and exchange/administration/rule-of-law related; and/or to absence of plastic credit/debit systems from local money handling affairs, then use the communication links below to set out your problem and we'll see what can be done to help. Although rigidly bound by constitution not to compete with or parasitise you, 'DotNet' recognises a good 'deal' when it exists and tiny commissions on businesses, big or small, would help to keep  'DotNet' free from  'aid'.

As a rough rule of thumb a kilo of alluvial gold dust has a typical market value that varies around $7,000, while a kilo bar of pure gold has a 'fixed' retail market value that varies around $14,000 - both numbers vary of course on a daily basis according to the world formal open ('managed') market price of gold (easy to track via Yahoo in the form of the ETFGLD).
