Ok, so it's been a year and some months since this page has seen change. Actually, that's not true. The layout you see happened sometime since the previous post here, sometime in November of last year. I added a few more little reviewy thingies on the Xanth booklist page... I need to make the list complete, though.
I'm hoping to update this more often, though I really have little interest in Xanth these days. A site with much more to check out is Xanthians.com. There are many activities there, and I think it has many original ideas. I may consider consider shutting this site down and adding its few bright spots into Xanthians.com. But while this site is here.... does anybody want to write a review of a book? It seems not, because for the four years this site has been online, I have had not one review. I'd greatly appreciate one. Ok, enjoy yourselves!

Gee golly, did ya see? I made lots of new things. I changed my main colors again, and moved to frames!
Also, I did all that minor stuff I've been promising, like adding the user content. I know there's many more things that I did, but I can't seem to remember. However, don't expect a big update for a while... though I'll try to put up the user stuff almost immediately. Have a nice day!

I think it fitting that the last time I updated this webpage was 4 months ago. Ah, so you have stumbled onto my secret. I am truly a very lazy person. I make goals to update things like this endeavor frequently, but you can see where that ends up. Since it's April Fool's Day, I'll make the goal to begin a structure change of this website (leaving few remains of what I created as a 10-year old). I'm sure there are those of you who submitted your input to various forms, and are wondering if I am even still alive. Yes, I'm alive, but I just have lots of homework. I have several e-mails, nicely sorted, just waiting to be posted, so don't despair.
I mentioned a possible remake of the website. When I do so (if I ever do), I plan to go for a more elegant look, though I likely won't completely abandon my pet bright colors. You must realize that this website was my first, and that the structure is very basic because that's all could do. Now, I have a greater mastery and knowledge of crafting websites, so the new one would be much nicer.
But then again, I may never get around to it, and you may be reading this in the summer of 2012, wondering if I ever started anything I suggested here.

I added my map and another map to my maps page.
I will soon update my voting pages.
November 29, 2002
I added a new poll on the front page. I found another server who does the same thing freequiz did.
I am in the process of adding summaries to my Xanth booklist page.
Also, I created my own Xanth map, and once I get a chance to scan it, it should be uploaded.

I got rid of the old poll when I discovered that freequiz.com no longer exists.
Also, I put a new guestbook in. I was wondering why it had been two years since anyone signed, and I discovered that the link didn't work. Now I have a new, fully functional guestbook.
Soon, I plan to add a new poll, probably involving the colors.

Well, this entire section is obviously new! I decided that I wanted to let people know what I was doing. It will always have the most recent dates at the top, but will have the other dates accessible. Also, check back here for anything I might mention to you. Many things will soon start changing.
I changed the colors! I just got tired of magenta, so I went for a fiercer red. I use two different browsers on two different computers, and it doesn't look as good in Microsoft Explorer for Mac OS X as it does in Netscape Communicator for Mac OS 9.2. Hmm.
I recently joined a webring, as you will see at the bottom of my homepage. If you have a Xanth site and want to join the webring, please click on the link that is shown.
On the same note, I ask anyone who wants a link to their website on my links page to contact me at laura@xanthians.com. I do check my e-mail fairly often, so you will probably get a response within a few days.
