BOOK Description:
Jordan Raven has experienced ghostly encounters since the age of four. When a white pickup truck causes the early and tragic death of her to-be-fiancé, Martin, on their to-be-engagement night, Jorie watches in horror through the window from their favorite restaurant. Just as Jorie starts to get her life together, it spirals out of control and takes a turn for the worse when she learns that her mother is dying of brain cancer. She wonders how she will go on.
Day after day ghostly sightings of her fiancé, pacing footsteps in the hall, and voices grow more intense and more frequent. Can Martin comfort his true love from the afterlife? Will Jorie accept his need to communicate with her?
Only after visiting Madame Daluka, a fortuneteller, Jorie begins to realize just how out of sorts her life truly is. She is ready to give up and accept life as it is until Kelly Spencer enters her life--and she finds herself wondering if Madame Daluka will be able to fill in the blanks for her?

Quotes from REVIEWS:
"Jennifer L. B. Leese paints a very sentimental story that draws you in and haunts you after finishing the story. You feel compassion and sympathy for the trials and tribulations the main character is forced to go through and you are right there with her. I highly recommend NOTES ON THE WINDOWSILL -- a touching love story. You may want to have the Kleenex box nearby as you read.--

"In the blink of an eye two lives are changed forever!
Ms. Leese has written a beautiful and haunting love story that draws you in from the first chapter to the last page turned. I can't compliment her enough on a job well done. Her story had me riveted, and eager through my tears to finish…yes tears that I could not help but shed in joy as well as sadness. If you are in the mood for a truly touching and heart felt read, then I invite you to read, "Notes on the Windowsill" The best way to describe this story is to say that it's a "Gift" and a testament to love."--Charlene Smith @ ParaNormalRomance Reviews

"...an eye opening story of destiny, love lost and love gained, with a paranormal twist. Jennifer Leese’s style allows for a romance novel that anyone would enjoy. The story shows how all life’s tragedies both small and large can turn out for the better and down the path that you’re meant to be on."--Marsha Chicoine @ eBook Reviews Weekly

"Story shows that Love is a very powerful thing"
"I find Ms. Leese's use of imagination to set the scene wonderful. It was refreshing to read a book without graphic sex. This is a book I would feel safe recommending to my teenage girls. It was a true joy to find that the focus of this book stayed true to the end. Love is a very powerful thing and it was shown clearly in this book."--Reviewed by Cheryl Barr @ ParanormalRomance Reviews

Quotes from READERS:
"I am a big fan and a voracious reader. I escape into the world of books when I read and become that character and I have truly lived a fabulous life through books. I finish one and have to start another one as soon as I can. Please add my name and address to you mailing list -- email or snail mail. I would love to receive anything from you. May God bless you richly for the beautiful works you have lovingly produced. I wish you the best of luck and lots of love and happiness (and more success) for many more years to come. Hope you have tons of visitors to your website."--Mahaira in Pakistan
"Yes, I did...I loved Jordan and what made her so real was the fact
that it *did* take her so long to get herself back together after
witnessing Martin's accidental death. And the touch of eerieness with
the ghostly hauntings.... I loved her relationship with her mother
and stepfather, and meeting Kelly and all the cool similarities.
Really an enjoyable book."--Laurie in Maryland
"...I'll try to stop at the end of a chapter, to make my break in
reading easier, but I never seem to be able to stop at the end of any
chapters. It's so hard to put down. I haven't had time to read any
the past couple of days, and I miss it! I wish it were like it used
to be, when I had the time to just do nothing but read and finish a
book in one sitting. 'Notes' is definitely one-sitting material."--Kay in Maryland

Teaser for the front of the book--174 words:
As I sipped my whiskey sour I glanced over at the bar behind me and saw the dark-haired man I had met once here with Martin--Kelly, I think his name was. He had a black motorcycle helmet carefully tucked under his right arm. His manner was intriguing and seductive as I watched him scan the crowd like a tiger hunting his prey. Our eyes met and I smiled shyly then looked away. I was embarrassed that he caught me staring at him. I glanced up at him again and he was still watching me.
The heat rose in my cheeks and I turned my head, but as if an invisible force drew me, my attention found its way back to the dark-haired man. He smiled.
I turned my back. I knew he was still watching me--I could practically feel his piercing gaze on the back of my head. I felt drawn to him, but I was afraid. I didn't want to appear easy by meeting his stare too often, but somehow I ended up doing so. I held it for only a second before looking away again.
Askance, I watched as he placed money on the counter then slowly walked towards me. He smoothly shifted in and out of the many individuals and couples between us.
He disappeared from my vision. A few seconds later, I had the feeling of someone standing behind me. Just as I started to turn my head, Kelly slid out the chair next to me and sat down. He carefully placed his helmet on the floor between his legs. In doing so, he brushed the back of his left hand up against my leg. A soft breath escaped me.
"Hi," he said, in a deep, captivating voice.
