The sun in Australia is piercingly bright. Sunglasses is more than useful - it is a must. But the bright sun has it's advantages: beautiful photos and tanned, good looking men!

Hay Street
Hay Street in the blaze of summer. This is the most popular street in the city and where all the main stores are.


However, this is not my favourite street - my fav street is Barracks St, where the Second hand bookstore is!

Diary Entry: The Boeing 747 from Singapore took 8 hours to reach Perth. My first thought about Australia? "My goodness where are the grass??" I saw nothing but desert! It was only until I saw the immigration counters that I realised that I was in another land!
