Jason Newsted. My future husband. Hey, this site may be called Lars Lover's Lair but a girl has a right to change her mind (btw-you can find me on AOL IM at any time under NewstedFan). Newsted had been Metallica for more than 14 years, but voluntarily left on January 17th, 2001, just one week before my 18th birthday. You can imagine how the tears flowed.
