Welcome to the NCC Great Dane Club! This is a club for cyber Danes!! If you don't know what a cyber dog is, try the NCC. The Great Dane, or Deutsche Dogge, is perhaps one of the most majestic dog breeds. A giant in the dog world, the Great Dane has a shoulder height of about 30 inches, or 2 1/2 feet, and yet retains a very elegant and dignified appearance. They were originnally bred as hunting dogs for German nobility, most often hunting wild boar. Modern Great Danes range in color (black, blue, fawn, brindle, mantle, merle, harlequin) but all share the same distinctive height and build.
