Registration Forms Location of Show: Canine College Training Facilities Driving Directions 6754 NE 181st Street Kenmore, WA 98028 It’s time once again for the Leonberger Club of the Northwest’s Winter Regional Specialty. We would like to extend a personal invitation to our 2002 Winter Specialty. For the first time this year, the show has been extended to be a 2-day event. We will be having two separate and complete confirmation shows to be held on both Saturday March 9th and Sunday March 10th. This means you will have two times the opportunity to gain points toward your Leo’s LCA championship. You may either sign up for just one of either of the two days, or you may sign up for both. Both days’ shows will be held at the same location as last year’s winter specialty, in Kenmore, WA. We encourage all of you and your Leos to come and join in the fun, whether you plan on entering the show as a participant or just want to come and watch. It’s a great way to meet other Leo owners and make new friends too! And if you do want to show your dog, but you’ve never shown before, don’t worry. Showing your dog is fun and there will be veteran handlers present to help you get acquainted with the expectations of the show ring. The important thing is to come and have fun! The judge for our specialty event held on Saturday March 9th will be Mr. Richard Beckwith from Snohomish, WA. Mr. Beckwith has been a judge for over 30 years and is also one of the top breeders of Golden Retrievers in the nation. He has judged Leonbergers at both international dog shows and ARBA shows as well. The judge for our specialty event to be held on Sunday March 10th will be Mr. Warren Hudson from Kingston, WA. Mr. Hudson is an approved judge for all working breeds and has judged Leonbergers several times at ARBA shows at Ft. Dent. YEAH! ANOTHER RAFFLE! We are going to be holding another raffle at this year’s winter specialty. Our raffle was a huge success at the Summer Specialty so we’ve decided to do it again. PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO BRING A DONATION FOR THE CLUB RAFFLE. The proceeds of the raffle go to benefit ………… If you have any questions about the raffle, please contact Lori Younger at (425) 356-1893 or (425) 442-9486 or by email at Lori.Younger@intermec.com.
