Lextin Bengals

Breed Information

Bengal cats are a robust cat, with a well developed muscle structure. The female on average is 8 to 10 lbs and the males average 10 to 20 lbs. The coat is soft, short to medium. It is desirable to have glitter. Their legs should be slightly longer in the rear and their feet are large and rounded. Bengal's head should be broad and may seem small for their bodies. They should have prominent whiskers with high cheekbones.

Bengals are a great family pet due to their intelligent and playful attitude. They are good with others cats and dogs, enjoy water and are good climbers, so a cat tree is recommended.

Excercise, nutritional and immunization requirements are the same as for all domesticated household cats.

More information about the breed is available at the International Bengal Cat Society web site.
