Saint Bernards are generally considered to be gentle family dogs with friendly temperments. They are heavy and powerful, with a thick furry coat.
Saints have a sweet, noble character and are hard working, faithful and calm.
Do they drool?
Yes, when the weather is hot, when food is around, and after a long walk. There is no such thing as a dry mouth Saint!
Are they good with kids?
Yes, if they are watched and the kids and pups are supervised at all times. With love and care they are like any other dog, they are happy to see
you when you've been away and they get excited when they meet someone new. They sometimes don't know their own size, but they are not mean spirited.
I always recommend PUP TRAINING CLASSES!!
