I am a fun loving person, and I like hanging around with my friends. We generally get together in one of our houses to chat or else decide on some nice place to hang around and go there.

My hobbies include:
  • Game programming: I like writing small games. I started by writing a program to play tic-tac-toe. Have a freind who also has the same interest. Generally get together in either house and think on something new. We then code it. We have coded games like 1) brick game. 2) shoot the alien ship. 3) eliminate the red rings 4) pad and ball and lots of other smaller gamessuch as guess the movie, build your city and dot game.
  • Learning new things: I am really interested in the new technologies. I always keep looking for something new. I also love learning more about these. Discovered the net when I was in the 12th grade and found it very interesting. I feel I have just learned just a negligible part of it. I was so impressed the concept of two computer being able to talk to each other that I decided to do my final year project in netwoking. We desinged a conformance tool for the SNMP network. It validates the message that flows in the SNMP network and to intimates the Manager about the discrpeancy in case there exits one.
  • Listening to Music: I simply love listening to music. I like all kinds of music. The only kind of music that I haven't liked is the classical songs. I also dont like the hard rock songs. Particularly heavy metal songs. I stick to the MTV and Channel V (two music channels) most of the time. I like most of the pop groups like the MLTR, Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, and others. I also like songs from the middle east. Like khalid.
  • Hosting shows: I love hosting show. I have been the host for most of the events in my department. Sometime I feel like being a VJ than continuing as a software engineer.
  • Trekking: I like trekking, but unfortunately haven't been able to do lots of trekking. I have trekked just a couple of times. I hope to trek something big on of these days.

  • Collecting stamps: I started collecting stamps since my child hood. It was the in thing then and all my friends were into the same. So I also started collecting stamps just because I also wanted to. But then it became a hobby later. Now I have pretty good collection of stamps. I hope to have stamps of all the countries one of these day.
