'HOON TO MEET RUMSFELD ON SEPTEMBER 11
'[British] Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon will make a six-day trip to the US around the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed.
'Mr Hoon's visit will include talks on the anniversary with US defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld.
'Mr Rumsfeld is regarded as the US's "chief hawk" pushing the case for military action against Saddam Hussein.
'The MoD said details of the trip and the talks agenda were not yet finalised.'
(BBC Ceefax, p.118)
And Hoon has been described as the most hawkish of the British cabalistic camp-followers. No doubt they will discuss (within the bounds of propriety) Stage Two of the construction of the new Evil Empire.
What is little Britain's role in it, anyway? What's the big deal about Britain that the US cabal is -- evidently -- anxious to cultivate? Is the former Great Britain's role to reactivate, as far as possible, the shreds and influences of its former empire? Are there not such linkages that are politely known by other names (e.g. the Commonwealth)?
Will we see an Anglo-Saxon Empire, such as Spengler feared as a rival to his preferred German Empire, an Oceania in which Britain is truly no more than an Airstrip One?
Former US President Clinton has warned that attacking Iraq may provoke Hussein into using biological or chemical weapons.
Has he been primed by CIA "intelligence"? Is the US cabal indeed planning a second massive terrorist attack on its own side, this time with weapons of mass destruction, that will unite people behind it (at home and abroad alike), paving the way to conquer Iraq (and Saudi Arabia, etc etc)?
9/11 has served it less-than-ideally. Though it permitted the conquest of Afghanistan (as an eastern outpost of its intended Middle-east oil empire) and has galvanized public opinion behind it in general terms for its "war on terror", yet it has not prepared specifically for an attack on Iraq. And that is the way the US administration's agitation has gone, against Hussein's police state and its alleged resumption of production of weapons of mass destruction (something they have never produced public proof for, though they have now had a year to cook it up).
The list of 19 alleged 9/11 hijackers, produced tout suite by the FBI after the attacks, contained 15 Saudi Arabians — what should have been a ideal excuse to invade this richest of oil-producing countries. Some efforts have been made in the last year to boost the image of this long-term economic ally of America as a dictatorship (or even a "totalitarian state"!). Yet only recently have US extreme-rightists been pushing for it to be a terroristic "kernel of evil".
Clearly the cabal has its manipulative strings somewhat tangled.
British Conservative opposition leader Iain Duncan Smith, writing in the Sunday Times, says Saddam Hussein is "a clear and growing danger" to the British people, which Blair must spell out. [He also supports military strikes on Iraq.]
(BBC Ceefax, 1 Sept. 02, p.107)
It's that season again! Duncan Smith is once again trying to outdo PM Tony Blair as a US cabalistic war puppet. After competing at this very thing last autumn, Blair and Duncan Smith backtracked on their positions, donning more moderate faces.
It is notable that they adopted their militant attitudes after meeting US Vice-President Dick Cheney last autumn. Is Cheney the maestro (or Mephisto) of lies, bribery and/or blackmail? Does he have Mule-like powers of Conversion (a la Asimov's Foundation series)?
'US, OPEC "TO WRECK GREEN ENERGY PLAN"
'The US and major oil producers are set to block agreement at the Earth Summit in Johannesburg on increasing the use of renewable energy, reports claim.
'The Independent on Sunday says the collusion has wrecked a Brazil-led move for the world to get 10% of its fuel from clean, renewable sources by 2010.
'Instead, they will push plans to boost fossil fuel use in developing countries.
'Delegates must agree tonight on plans to be put to world leaders next week.'
(BBC Ceefax, 1 Sept. 02, p.111)
I can understand that the US and OPEC have separate interests in so doing, but the latter would be foolish indeed to collaborate with its prospective conqueror (unless it hopes to propitiate it by so doing).

Charles Lane, 'Debate Crystallizes on War, Rights: Courts Struggle Over Fighting Terror vs. Defending Liberties', Washington Post, 2 Sept. 02, p.A01 — long leader article. Extracts:-
'As they tend to do in times of national crisis, on Sept.11 Americans looked to the person the Constitution designates as commander-in-chief. And President Bush responded -- with aggressive and often unilateral executive action.
'Without seeking formal approval from either Congress or the courts, the Bush administration has taken steps to establish military trials for foreign terror suspects, designated two U.S. citizens as "enemy combatants" who may be held indefinitely without being charged, and ordered secret deportation hearings for suspected terrorists. In these and other cases, the president and his aides say his office gives him the authority he needs to fight al Qaeda. ...
'[Also] detaining hundreds of mostly Arab and Muslim men under near-secret conditions, and decreeing that Justice Department officials may eavesdrop on some conversations between terror suspects and their attorneys.
'Although opposition to the Bush administration's approach may be spreading -- Attorney General John D. Ashcroft's proposal to enlist meter readers and truck drivers as anti-terrorism informants met with outrage not only from Democrats in Congress but also such Republicans as House Majority Leader Richard K. Armey (Tex.) -- opinion polls show it is not yet a majority sentiment.
'In a Gallup-CNN-USA Today poll in June, 11 percent of those surveyed thought the Bush administration had gone too far in restricting civil liberties, 50 per cent said it has been about right and 25 percent said it hasn't gone far enough.
'Even many of Bush's critics acknowledge he has not tried to regiment U.S. society as some wartime predecessors did. During the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln suspended habeas corpus without an act of Congress and detained thousands of suspected rebel sympathizers. During World War I, Woodrow Wilson prosecuted anti-war activists and banned anti-war publications from the mails. Franklyn D. Roosevelt interned tens of thousands of Japanese Americans. ...
'... to many people, the relevant comparison is not between what Bush has done and what Lincoln and FDR did; it is how Bush's actions measure up to modern concepts of constitutional rights, which are, by most measures, far more expansive than they were even as recently as World War II. ...
'Bush is facing particularly stiff [judicial] resistance to his assertion that the executive branch may designate certain U.S. citizens as "enemy combatants," and hold them indefinitely, without charging them with a crime or permitting them access to an attorney.
'Two such detainees are being held at a Navy brig in South Carolina: Yasser Esam Hamdi, who was born in the United States of Saudi parents, was captured in Afghanistan; Jose Padilla, a Brooklyn-born Puerto Rican who converted to militant Islam after a career as a petty criminal, was arrested by the FBI in Chicago's O'Hare airport on suspicion that he was part of an al Qaeda plot to use a radiological bomb in the United States. ...'
'IRAQ "CAN PROVE [nuclear] WEAPONS CLAIMS FALSE"
'Iraq is not working to get nuclear weapons and is ready to prove it, a senior Iraqi official has said.
'Deputy prime minister Tareq Aziz told news channel CNN that Iraq would use "technical, viable means" to show it had no weapons of mass destruction.
'But re-admitting UN arms inspector Hans Blix's team was not an option, he said.
'Speaking at the Earth Summit in South Africa, Mr Aziz also said Iraq had no link to al-Qaeda or Osama Bin Laden.'
(BBC Ceefax, 2 Sept. 02, p.105)
'White House in disarray over Cheney speech'
'George Bush has moved to distance himself from his vice-president after it was revealed that a sabre-rattling speech on Iraq by Dick Cheney was made without clearing key points [with] the White House.
'In a clear sign of disarray at the top of the US administration it has emerged that Mr Cheney may have gone too far in a bellicose address last week in which he dismissed out of hand the usefulness of pushing for weapons inspectors to be allowed back into Iraq.
'That disarray inside the Bush team was compounded by renewed reports in the US press last night that Colin Powell was planning to leave his job as secretary of state at the end of the president's first term, potentially threatening Mr Bush's re-election chances in 2004 by robbing him of a popular and moderate ally.
'Mr Powell's recommendations for the administration to take a more multilateralist line in foreign policy have repeatedly been ignored.
'In an interview with the BBC broadcast yesterday, Mr Powell argued that UN weapons inspectors should be sent back to Iraq as a "first step" towards dealing with the threat posed by Saddam Hussein, echoing the position taken by Britain and the European Union.
'Those comments directly contradicted the speech by Mr Cheney to US war veterans last Monday. In that he said the inspectors "would provide no assurance whatsoever" of Iraqi compliance with UN disarmament resolutions, and instead increase the danger by providing "false comfort".
'A European diplomat said: "As far as we can tell, the Cheney speech was a freelance job which had not been cleared with other agencies." The diplomat believed that included Mr [Bush's] national security adviser, Condoleeza Rice.
'That impression was reinforced by a report in Newsweek magazine yesterday in which the White House chief of staff Andy Card, said that the president had not authorised Mr Cheney's language on inspections, and it was toned down in a second version of the speech delivered later in the week.
'The report also quoted administration sources as saying that Mr Cheney had failed to check the facts behind his allegations against Iraq with the CIA and that the state department never saw the final text of the speech. ...
'The issue of weapons inspectors is at the centre of the debate within the Bush administration between hawks, led by Mr Cheney and the defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who believe the US should go it alone in toppling President Saddam and moderates, led by Mr Powell and a phalanx of prominent figures in the Republican party, who want to pursue the quarrel with Iraq through the UN.
'Opinions polls yesterday showed the US public to be overwhelmingly on the side of the moderates. In a Newsweek survey, 81% said it was important to gain the formal support of the UN for military action and 86% said it was important to get support from most of Washington's European allies.
'Diplomats in Washington believe the White House is considering approaching the UN security council to seek a new ultimatum for Iraq to readmit weapons inspectors, a course of action advocated by the EU last week.
'Any future UN ultimatum will be hamstrung by the administration's oft-repeated intention to pursue "regime change" irrespective of UN inspections, removing President Saddam's incentive to comply. Mr Bush is due to address the UN general assembly on September 12, by which time the White House is hoping to have clarified its policy.'

'Al-Qaida Said to Find Refuge in Camp, Washington Post online, 2 Sept. 02:-
'... Zeev Schiff, a prominent Israeli journalist who covers the military, reported in Haaretz daily that Damascus has allowed between 150 and 200 al-Qaeda operatives to settle in the in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ein el-Hilweh, near the Lebonese coastal town of Sidon.
'The group includes senior commanders who arrived from Afghanistan through Damascus and Iran, the newspaper reported Monday [2 Sept.], attributing its information to "various intelligence services." [Such as the CIA, the CIA, and the CIA?] ...'
A 'Lebanese security source' denied that al-Qaeda members were in the camp.
The Israelis must be thinking, If our Yank Big Brothers do it for their ulterior purposes, why shouldn't we as well? If they do it to conquer an oil empire, we can do it to further duff up the Palestinians (and Lebanese). And if we throw in a mention of Syria and Iran as well, that will please our Big Brothers ...

Be seeing you ... 'BLAIR TO PUBLISH SADDAM ARMS EVIDENCE
'Evidence that Iraq has been stockpiling weapons of mass destruction will be made available within weeks, Prime Minister Tony Blair has said.
'Iraq posed a "real and unique threat", and thee was "some evidence" it was close to acquiring nuclear weapons, he told a news conference in Sedgefield.
'How Saddam's Hussein's threat should be dealt with had yet to be decided[!].
'But Mr Blair added: "This isn't just an issue for the United States."
(BBC Ceefax, 3 Sept. 02, p.104)
Why not publish right away? Why not have published a year ago? Because it won't matter in a few weeks? Because they'll have occupied Iraq by then? Because they'll have staged another atrocity by then, so that few will be paying attention anyway?

'BUSH TO REVEAL IRAQ PLANS SOON — POWELL
'US Secretary of State Colin Powell has said President Bush will set out American plans for action on Iraq "fully and in the near future".
'General Powell dismissed Iraqi calls for talks on the resumption of weapons inspections. [Which proves that he's merely been playing soft cop-tough cop games with Bush and the other hawks, directed against Iraq. ]
'"It's the con that the Iraqi regime have been pulling on the international community for years," he said.

'Hunt for al-Qaeda in Afghanistan "a waste of time"'

'They believe bin Laden was killed in the pre-Christmas raid on Tora Bora, the mountainous al-Qaeda hideout close to Pakistan ... The view was discussed at a meeting of special operations leaders convened after a request by Donald Rumsfeld ...
'One idea being explored is whether America could send special forces covertly into countries without asking or informing their governments.
'... [But] Until there was evidence to the contrary the Pentagon would continue to believe bin Laden to be alive. ...'

The cabal's mirror-logic ever exposes their own despicable agenda.
5 Sept. 02
A female leader of the US veterans' association, of the Gulf War of 1991, was interviewed by the BBC (World Service news). She believes that most Americans do not support another American military campaign against Iraq, but that the (American) media is not accurately reporting public opinion. (She admitted to being gung ho the first time around.)
She also believes that the new war-mongering is being pursued with a (largely unnamed) ulterior agenda in mind. She said that the US itself supplied anthrax and the West Nile virus to Iraq years ago. (She definitely said 'West Nile'. Isn't this the stuff that's going round the USA today?)
(I wrote the above from memory some hours after hearing it, which is why it's less pristine than my usual entries.)
'SEARCH ENGINE GOOGLE FIGHTS CHINESE BAN
'The popular search engine Google has said it is trying to get the ban on its site in China (see above, under 3 Sept.) lifted.
'"We are currently working with Chinese officials to get our full service restored to the millions of Chinese users," the company said in a statement.
'China has defended its policy of maintaining tight controls on the net. ...'
(BBC Ceefax, p.154)
US bodyguards shot three men dead after they attacked President Karzai with guns in his car during a meet-the-people parade in Kandahar. Afghan officials were quick to blame "al-Qaeda". At the same time, a powerful bomb in Kabul killed 10 to 30 people in the street. For this, exiled warlord Hekmatiar was given the blame.
Meanwhile the Israelis claim to have safely blown up a 1,300lb car bomb near Hadera in northern Israel. The bomb was also said to contain two barrels of fuel and metal fragments. It was a 'miracle' the bomb was found by police, said Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres. If it had gone off it could have changed the face of the whole Middle East, he said. (ITV Teletext, 5 Sept. 02, p.314)
Jeez, it-must-have-been-a-Doomsday-bomb!
The Israeli ruling clique evidently has not the evil 'bravery' that the US cabal has: to murder thousands of its own people in order to galvanize public opinion in support of its black crusade.
'TV STATION TO AIR AL-QAEDA "CONFESSION"
'Arabic [Qatari] TV station al-Jazeera says it has obtained the first confessions from al-Qaeda members that the organisation carried out the September 11 attacks.
'The station says it has interviewed two men who lived with hijacker Mohammed Atta in Germany before the attacks.
'It claims that next week it will air "the first direct confession" about how al-Qaeda planned the operation.
'The station says the two men were interviewed in Pakistan.'
(BBC Ceefax, 5 Sept. 02, p.110)
This should make a nice complement to Blair's "Iraq dossier". I haven't seen enough evidence to say with certainty (or even probability) that al-Jazeera TV is a CIA mouthpiece, but the Qatari regime is in Western pockets to some extent — the current emir has relied on Western support since overthrowing his father in 1995. The al-Jazeera station was founded in 1996 from 'defecting' BBC World Service staff; it has been supported by government funding ever since. See The Three Centres ...: 'Trucial Emirates' on this website.

'100 jets join attack on Iraq'
'About 100 American and British aircraft took part in an attack on Iraq's major western air defence installation yesterday in the biggest single operation over the country for four years.
'The raid appeared to be a prelude to the type of special forces operations that would have to begin weeks before a possible American-led war. ...
'Although only 12 aircraft dropped precision-guided bombs on to the H3 airfield, ... many support aircraft took part. [Now that's what I call a big supporting role.]
'The strikes were carried out by nine American F15 Strike Eagles and three RAF Tornado GR4 ground attack aircraft flying from Kuwait. ...'
The 'information' was given out unofficially by US Central Command and British Ministry of Defence sources.
(Michael Smith, Daily Telegraph, 6 Sept. 02, p.1)
'... Iraq is currently exporting around a million barrels of oil a day out of a total production of 1.8 million barrels. This is far below the 3.5 million barrels a day it was pumping out before the 1979 Iran-Iraq war. The effects of the UN oil for food programme and a disintegrating infrastructure have pushed Iraqi oil exports below the country's capacity.
'American imports of Iraqi oil have dropped from nearly a million barrels a day earlier in the year to just 200,000.
'Now Iraq has 112 billion barrels of oil, second only to Saudi Arabia's 261 billion. If these were fully exploited [!] after Saddam's fall, production "could increase rapidly in a very short time", say oil industry analysts.
'"America is being held at bay by foreign crude oil suppliers and so, if it was to secure another more friendly and stable source, then that would certainly be considered a positive outcome." [Oh no!!! Not — honesty!!!]
'With three million barrels a day being produced by a free [!] Iraq, the most benign scenario goes, oil prices could dip below $10 a barrel. The many critics of Saudi Arabia in Washington argue that this is one of the reasons why the House of Saud is so reluctant to see Saddam go.
'There are problems with such a benign scenario, however. Rebuilding Iraqi facilities would take time and it could be five years before negotiations between a new Iraqi and international companies lead to 1979 levels. [Come on, you expect these muppets to show some gratitude. And if they were independent oppositionists, their acceptance of cabal-USA as their 'liberating sword' ipso facto muppetises them.] ...'

'TALEBAN "WARNED US" OF IMPENDING ATTACK
'The Taleban warned American diplomats and the UN in July last year that Osama Bin Laden was planning an attack on US soil, a regime aide has said. [An ex regime aide, presum.]
'The aide delivered warnings from the Taleban's foreign minister without naming sources, but they went unheeded.
'The minister had feared US retaliation against al-Qaeda's base of [sic] Afghanistan.
'A US source said officials had been hearing so many warnings that a kind of "warning fatigue" had set in.'
(BBC Ceefax, p.108)
In the same month that the US was said to have warned Afghanistan that it would be attacked if it didn't hand over bin Laden. And that bin Laden was said to have met with local CIA representative Larry Mitchell in Dubai. (See this.) Here's something to think about. Is it revelationary? Is it diversionary disinformation? ...

'IRAQ "POSES NO THREAT" — EX-INSPECTOR
'Iraq poses no threat to its neighbours or the US, a former [head] UN weapons inspector has insisted.
'Scott Ritter, speaking to the Iraqi parliament, said it had not been shown Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
'President Bush appeard set on a course of unilateral action, he added.
'Mr Ritter who has been critical of US poicy since leaving Baghdad in 1998, urged Iraq to re-admit the inspectors to prove it had nothing to hide.'
(BBC Ceefax, p.108)
Is Ritter a genuine opponent of Bush-fronted imperialism? Or is he another pressure-applier in the guise of one? Is he knight or robber-baron? Ritter oder Raubritter?
Blair, back from a meeting with Bush, 'is to brief senior MPs over the coming weeks on plans to tackle Saddam Hussein and his regime's weapons of mass destruction ... [and he] is due to publish a dossier of evidence against Saddam in the next two weeks.' (ITV Teletext, p.303)
I can't wait! Come on lads, you must have cooked up something convincing in a whole year.
The US cabal ever gives itself away via mirror-logic (as I've remarked several times before). In describing "al-Qaeda" or "Iraq", their public representatives sometimes unconsciously reveal their own nature, methods and aims. (Bush is particularly transparent at it.)
I've just read an address by James L Pavitt, head of the CIA's Directorate of Operations, made last 11 April. He talked about how the CIA is "struggling with global terrorism". Regarding those who perpetrated the Sept. 11 attacks, he says
The terror cells that we're going up against are typically small and all terrorist personnel in those cells, particularly in those cells, perpetrating the acts of terror, all those personnel are carefully screened. The number of personnel who know vital information, targets, timing, the exact methods to be used had to be smaller still. ...There's no logical inference from this statement in itself that Pavitt is talking about anything other than al-Qaeda's techniques. But from our general experience of the cabal's mirror-logic, we know that the cabal's personnel do, from time-to-time, make statement's about the (constructed) Enemy which inadvertantly describe themselves. And Pavitt is here talking about the intimate, quintessential methodology of "al-Qaeda"....on that shocking videotape that we recovered from Afghanistan [a shockingly poor-quality tape probably faked by the CIA itself] [bin Laden] talks about the fact that some of the hijackers, indeed, some of the most senior members of his inner circle had been kept in the dark about the full extent of [the planned attacks of Sept. 11]. In my business we call that compartmentation. ...
Most of the CIA's personnel do not believe that September 11 was the result of a conspiracy within the US political establishment; far less did this great majority participate in it. It is established practice ("compartmentation"), born of necessity, for specific operations to be assigned to small covert intra-CIA groups. Are Pavitt's statements an inadvertant confession of one such operating-cell that murdered thousands of his fellow citizens? Does this top CIA man not have intimate knowledge of it? What was his role in it?

'IRAQ NUCLEAR BOMB "POSSIBLE IN MONTHS"
'Iraq has the ability to assemble a nuclear bomb in a "matter of months" if it obtained radioactive material with foreign assistance, [Let's get those goddamn Russkies and/or Chinks next!] a study has said.
'The International Institute of Strategic Studies has published a dossier [alas, poor Tony Blair! You've been upstaged!] of Iraq's capabilities based on existing UN reports and other sources. [And what are these sources?]
'Author John Chipman said it could make a 650 km-range nuclear missile in a year.
'He added Iraq had stockpiled chemical and biological weapons.'
(BBC Ceefax, p.104)
'... [Saddam] has "perhaps thousands of litres of anthrax" and could resume biological weapons production in weeks.
'But [Chipman] added it is unlikely Iraq has its own nuclear materials.'

'SEPT 11 HIJACKER "THANKS OSAMA ON TAPE"
'A September 11 hijacker has apparently thanked Osama Bin Laden for helping train him in a video screened by Al-Jazeera TV in the Gulf [Qatar].
'Abdul Aziz al-Omari praised "all those who trained me and made possible this glorious act", adding bin Laden's name.
'The station said the speech was Al-Omari's "will", recorded in Afghanistan.
'A voice thought to be bin Laden's [spectral?] named four leaders of the terrorist hijacks in the US, and prayed for their souls.'

'"BIN LADEN" NAMES ATTACKERS
'Arab [Qatari] TV channel Al-Jazeera has aired excerpts from a videotape in which Osama bin Laden apparently names the leaders of the September 11 attacks.
'A voice sounding like the Saudi-born dissident named four men — Mohammed Atta, Marwan Al-Shihhi, Honi Hajour and Ziad Jarrah — as the ringleaders.
'The tape shows several young men training for the attacks.'

'IRAQ LINK WITH TERROR "THIN"
'The White House has decided it can make a much stronger case against Baghdad's pursuit of weapons of mass destruction than links with al-Qaeda, reports say.
'Intelligence chiefs told the Washington Post that CIA information is "thin on Baghdad's ties to global terrorism" [Oh well, I'm sure they did their best.]
'The White House is redoubling efforts to make its case for removing the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.'
(ITV Teletext, p.305)
Someone should tell the cabal that a transparent hidden agenda is a contradiction in terms.
'US ON MAJOR TERROR ALERT
'The US is on a major terror alert as it prepares to commemmorated the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
'US officials raised the warning for the first time to Code Orange, just one below the highest level of danger. [Attorney General John Ashcroft said there were indications of plans for suicide attacks against US targets; he suggested unnamed 'south Asian' countries.]
'The FBI said there had been threats of a strike on New York and Washington, with transport networks, power plants and banks all possible targets.'
(ITV Teletext, 10 Sept. 02, p.304)
'US FORCES IN BAHRAIN ON HIGHEST ALERT
'American military personnel in Bahrain have been put on the US forces' highest security alert after "credible" warnings of terrorist attacks.
'The alert covers the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet, where some 4,000 personnel are based.
'US forces elsewhere in the Gulf have been placed on the second highest state of alert.
'The alerts place tight restrictions on personnel and their families' movements.'
(BBC Ceefax, 10 Sept. 02, p.107)
We could have a simultaneous Washington putsch and Iraq attack on the agenda.
'MISSILE LAUNCHERS LOADED IN WASHINGTON
'US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld has ordered that live missiles be deployed in air defence systems in Washington as a precaution.
'Earlier, the US raised its security alert status ahead of September 11.
'Vice-President Cheney has cancelled a speech and is reported to be spending the night at a secure location.
'President Bush said: "We have no specific threat to America. But we're taking everything seriously."'
(BBC Ceefax, 10 Sept. 02, p.105)

See above, under 2 Sept., for these accusations.
'US TROOPS UPGRADED TO TOP ALERT LEVEL
'US forces in the Middle East have been put on their highest alert status after warnings of possible terrorist strikes on the anniversary of September 11.
'Defence officials said the 4,000 troops of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain went onto full "delta" alert on Tuesday.
'The alert has now been extended to troops in the Horn of Africa, Central Asia and the rest of the Gulf. [All this is the zone of responsibility of the US Central Command.]
'a number of US and British embassies have been closed for security reasons.'
(BBC Ceefax, 11 Sept. 02, p.142)
Looks like a full Central Command mobilization — in disguise.
'... A survey by US think-tank Pew Internet found ... just under half of Americans think the government has no right to monitor email and internet communications.' (BBC Ceefax, 11 Sept. 02, p.154) US Central Command is to move key elements of its HQ from Florida to Qatar. It was described as a 'three-week exercise', but might be made permanent. (BBC Newsnight, 11 Sept. 02)
The Middle East oil region is to be the first province of the American World Empire (as Sicily was alleged to have been for the Roman Empire). Founded by the specific interests of the US oil lobby. Its governor (Tommy Franks??) is moving into residence. It must have military force to back up the construction of a political edifice. "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun", as Mao Tse-tung correctly observed.
'BUSH VOW TO BEAT "FANATICS"
'US President George W Bush has talked of "a year of sorrow, of empty places" since the terrorist attacks that drew America into war.
'He vowed victory over "history's gang of fanatics" in a national TV address.
'With the Statue of Liberty as a backdrop, Mr Bush said: "We will not relent until justice is done and our nation is cured."'
(ITV Teletext, 11 Sept. 02)
In describing their constructed enemies, the cabal-men ever have their work cut out: they simply describe themselves (with "only the names changed"). Sooner or later, someone, probably Bush, will make a slip and say "CIA" for "al-Qaeda", for example.
'BIN LADEN VOICE IDENTIFIED
'The CIA has confirmed Osama bin Laden did provide the voice recording for the latest al-Qaeda videotape to air on television.
'But the intelligence officials do not believe he was taped recently.
'They matched the voice on tape to previous recordings of bin Laden. Arab TV station Al-Jazeera has been airing excerpts of the tape this week.'
(Ibid.)
Why does it have to be the CIA that confirms the voice as bin Laden's? Surely a lot of people could, assuming it is.

Palestine: 'A new era in Palestinian rule may be starting with the resignation of Yasser Arafat's cabinet following stiff [Palestinian] parliamentary opposition, say [the] Israelis.' (ITV Teletext, p.318)
'Rescue workers have pulled 105 bodies from the wreckage of a train that crashed in eastern India [on 10 Sept.]. ... Railway officials suspect sabotage, possibly Maoist rebels in the area, caused the crash.' (Ceefax, p.117)
'BUSH URGES "DECISIVE" ACTION OVER IRAQ [at the UN]
'George Bush has urged world leaders to "move deliberately and decisively to hold Iraq to account" for ignoring UN Security Council resolutions.
'The UN faced a "defining moment" over whether it would let demands on issues such as arms inspections be "cast aside", he told the UN General Assembly.
'"We cannot stand by and do nothing while dangers gather", Mr Bush said.
'He said action would be "unavoidable" if the UN did not enforce resolutions."'
(BBC Ceefax, 12 Sept. 02, p.104)
'SADDAM "HARBOURS TERRORISTS"
'Saddam Hussein's regime continues to shelter and support terrorist organizations directing violence against the West, George Bush has said.
'Al-Qaeda members are known to be in Iraq, the US President told the UN General Assembly in New York.
'He added that if Iraq succeeded in acquiring fissile material, it could build a nuclear weapon within a year.'
(ITV Teletext, 12 Sept. 02, p.304)
'HOLLY, JESSICA POLICE QUIZZED OVER PORN
'Two police officers who worked on the Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman case have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in child pornography.
'The men are being questioned at a police station outside Cambridgeshire.
'They are being held on suspicion of inciting others to distribute indecent photographs of children.
'Cambridgeshire police said the arrests were not connected with the inquiry into the deaths of the 10-year-olds.'
(BBC Ceefax, 12 Sept. 02, p.122)
We won't be surprised if we learn that the FBI is behind this. The cabalized FBI is insinuating its Satanic tentacles throughout the world.
Yes, this is part of the FBI's worldwide "paedophile campaign" — see below, under 13 Sept.]
It could be that the officers had refused to go along with the Holly-Jessica police-state/paedophile-mob experiment. Or maybe its just another part of the experiment.
'QATAR WILL NOT BE "US BASE FOR STRIKES"
'The Gulf Arab state of Qatar has said it will not allow [!] its soil to be used as a launch pad for US attacks on Iraq.
'But it did say it had no objection to a permanent US military presence there "for deterrence and defence purposes".
'The US has announced a plan to move up to 600 members of its armed forces Central Command from Florida, US, to Qatar for an exercise in November.
'US defence officials added they were considering [!] making the move permanent.
(BBC Ceefax, 12 Sept. 02, p.106)
'ITALIAN POLICE ARREST AL-QAEDA SUSPECTS
'Fifteen men believed by police to be Pakistani members of the al-Qaeda network have been arrested in Italy.
'The men were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit terrorist acts after arriving in the Sicilian port of Gela on a cargo ship from Morocco.
'Italian police said documents on the ship referred to al-Qaeda and telephone numbers linked the men to the group.
'Pakistan has said the detainees had false documents and are not Pakistanis.'
(BBC Ceefax, 12 Sept. 02, p.110)
A few months ago the Berlusconi mob were staging a "barbarians-at-the-gate" show with a shipload of 800-odd illegal immigrants off Sicily, up to 15 more ships allegedly "out there", and declaring a national state of emergency.
And is Berlusconi at last collaborating with the US cabal to incriminate Pakistan?

'TELEGRAPH[:] Advance parties will begin deploying to Kuwait within two weeks in preparation for an attack on Iraq that may involve 30,000 British troops.' (ITV Teletext, p.326)
'CANADIAN LEADER WARNS OF WESTERN GREED
'Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien has said "Western arrogance" played a part in the September 11 attacks.
'He warned the US and other wealthy nations against "humiliating" poorer countries with "greedy" attitudes.
'The comments show widening policy differences between Mr Chretien and President Bush.
'The Canadian PM had been a staunch ally after the attacks, but will not support strikes on Iraq without a UN mandate.'
(BBC Ceefax, 13 Sept. 02)
The USAF has said that two of its pilots who bombed Canadian troops in Afghanistan should be prosecuted for involuntary manslaughter. (Ibid.)
Bush says the UN should deal with the questions of Iraqi inspection and disarmament within days or weeks, not months (or years). (Ibid., p.106)
'GIRLS' OFFICERS ON PORN CHARGES
'Two policemen who worked on the Soham murders case have been charged over indecent images of children.
'DC Brian Stevens, who comforted the parents of Jessica Chapman, and PC Anthony Goodridge will face magistrates in Bury St Edmunds tomorrow morning.
'The officers were arrested as part of a worldwide inquiry which is being led by the FBI in the United States.'
(ITV Teletext, 13 Sept. 02, p.303)
Hypothesis confirmed! (See above, under 12 Sept.) And it suggests the FBI has its hand in the "Soham experiment" too.
This is the "intra-scale" social equivalent of the anti-Iraqi agitprop currently being wielded by the US cabal. Both are tools to achieve an end. The latter to create an empire. The former to establish a (worldwide) totalitarian state by means of Stalin-style terror, in this case a worldwide paedophile campaign:- the modern equivalent of the witchcraft campaigns of early modern times but, perhaps ultimately, on a vastly-greater scale.
Google has resumed a restricted service in China. Looking up "Jang Zemin" produced "no information available", and BBC News Online was blanked out wholesale.

'SEPT 11 "MASTERMIND" CAUGHT IN PAKISTAN
'A suspected organiser of the September 11 attacks has been captured in a raid in Karachi, Pakistan, US officials say.
'Yemeni national Ramzi Binalshibh, who is on the FBI's list of most wanted al-Qaeda suspects, was arrested after a gun battle with Pakistani authorities.
'It is believed he had worked closely with ringleader Mohammed Atta in Germany and planned to join the hijackers.
'But he was refused a US visa and is said to have wired them money instead.'

'Bush smallpox plan would vaccinate health workers first, public later'
'WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 — Smallpox vaccine would be offered to all health care workers, starting with emergency room workers and moving to doctors in private practice, and eventually extended to the general public under a Bush administration plan in the final stages of development. ...'
(Associated Press, MSNBC.com, 13 Sept. 02)
Israel has already begun implementing such a plan. See August diary, under 15 August.
'DOSSIER "WILL LINK IRAQ TO AL-QAEDA"
'The dossier Tony Blair will produce as evidence against Saddam Hussein will reveal the Iraqi leader trained leading al-Qaeda terrorists, reports say.
'A draft version contains detailed information about how key lieutenants of Osama Bin Laden underwent training in Iraq, the Sunday Telegraph reports.
'Abu Zubair and Rafid Fatah are said to retain links with Baghdad.
'Downing Street refused to comment ahead of the dossier's publication.'
(BBC Ceefax, 14 Sept. 02, p.105)
But there's nothing like a sly leak to whet the appetite. The Sunday Telegraph had another such worthy exclusive on Armistice Day last year: a "videotape of Osama bin Laden admitting his guilt" over Sept. 11, 2001. Another occasion when the paper has had the honour to be a (direct or indirect) front for CIAgitprop.
'"TERROR CELL" BROKEN UP IN NEW YORK [State]
'A "terrorist cell" has been disrupted after five US citizens were arrested in New York [in fact, a small town near Buffalo] on charges of giving al-Qaeda information, officials say.
'The men, of Yemeni descent, reportedly attended an Afghan al-Qaeda training camp before the September 11 attacks. ...'

'ITALIAN PM PREDICTING 2003 IRAQ ATTACK
'Action will probably by taken against Iraq early next year if it fails to readmit UN weapons inspectors, the Italian Prime Minister has predicted.
'Silvio Berlusconi's indication of a possible attack timetable came after talks with President Bush at Camp David.
'Mr Berlusconi said he believed Saddam Hussein would eventually bow to UN demands on weapons inspection.
'But if he did not, "one can think of action in January or February", he said.
(BBC Ceefax, p.105)
Yes, it looks as if the US cabal and Berlusconi are now collaborating.
As for Bush, he's making a whole career out of threatening to attack Iraq. But opposition pressure shouldn't be discounted in procuring this "slowdown".
Liberty in Chains?
"What we seek to secure is liberty itself" — US Attorney-General John Ashcroft to reporters, at a meeting of European Union justice ministers. (BBC News 24)
Now here is a quotation of the first water from the mighty Ashcroft, one worthy to appear on the first page of a book of the cabal's psycho-slips. (Most of the quotations would, of course, be Bush's).
16 Sept. 02
Prime Minister Tony Blair's dossier on Iraq will be published on 24 September at 8 a.m. — just hours before a House of Commons debate on the matter (which won't be allowed a vote anyway).
'Saudi Arabia has indicated an attack on Iraq could be launched from its air bases, provided the action had been sanctioned by the United Nations. ...' (BBC Ceefax, p.104)
'IRAQ ACCEPTING UN WEAPONS INSPECTIONS
'Iraq has unconditionally accepted the return of UN weapons inspectors, the UN's Secretary General has said.
'Kofi Annan was handed a letter by the Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri who was accompanied by the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Musa.
'Mr Annan praised both the Arab League and President Bush for their roles.
'Mr Bush's speech to the UN had "galvanized the international community," he said.'
(BBC Ceefax, 16 Sept. 02 at 11:30 p.m. BST, p.105)
He forgot to add his belief that it is peace in our time.
17 Sept. 02
'BUSH SNUBS SADDAM'S OFFER
'US President George Bush has snubbed Iraq'a unconditional offer for the return of UN arms inspectors hours after Britain voiced its own doubts.
'Mr Bush, pointedly ignoring Saddam's offer, said the UN must act to contain the dictator while Foreign Secretary Jack Straw expressed his "scepticism".
'Other US officials said the dictator was simply trying to buy time.'
(ITV Teletext, 17 Sept. 02, p.303)
'"NO LET UP" IN GULF WAR PLAN
'The Pentagon says it is moving ahead with contingency plans for possible war with Iraq despite Baghdad's offer for the return of UN weapons inspectors.
'US officials are discussing with the UK the possibility of basing B-2 "Stealth" bombers on the British Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia.
'And the US military is still to move its Central Command staff to Oman [sic for Qatar].'

Jonathan Friedland, 'Rome AD ... Rome, DC?, in The Guardian, makes the comparison between the Roman and American empires. He ends with the question, is America's empire ending, or just beginning? '... it's just as possible that the US is merely moving into the second phase of Rome's imperial history, when it grew frustrated with indirect rule through allies and decided to do the job itself. ...' Self-evidently, this is what is happening.
The Sunday Herald stated that, in September 2000, a plan for US global domination was drawn up by then-future members of the Bush cabinet: Cheney, Rumsfeld, and three others. See Neil Mackay, 'Bush planned Iraq "regime change" before becoming president', 15 Sept. 02.
'PLANS MADE FOR ARMS CHECKS
'UN arms teams and Iraqi officials have agreed to meet in Vienna in 10 days to finalise plans for the return of weapons inspectors in the country.
'Iraq's announcement follows a meeting with chief UN arms inspector Hans Blix to discuss "practical arrangements".
'Despite this positive sign, several unresolved issues over the return of UN teams are understood to remain.'
(ITV Teltextext, 17 Sept. 02, p.305)
19 Sept. 02
A Congressional report on "intelligence failures" before the Sept. 11 attacks has accused the Bush administration of knowing far more than it has admitted. It says that the intelligence community was aware for years beforehand that bin Laden was planning an attack on US soil.
This underlines that the conspiracy is "intelligence" originated and driven, at least in part.
'US "FAILED TO HEED" TERROR ATTACK ALERT
'US intelligence services were warned of a possible al-Qaeda attack using aircraft three years before September 11, a Congressional report claims.
'The report casts serious doubt on statements by the US government that it could not have predicted what happened.
'It also says they were aware of the possible use of aircraft as missiles.'
(BBC Ceefax, 19 Sept. 02)
1998 was the year that CIA boss George Tenet said saw the origin of the Sept. 11 plot. By al-Qaeda, of course. No, by him and his. It seems possible that "the hijackers were themselves hijacked" (rather than automatic pilots being used).

'FEARS FOR ARAFAT AS ISRAELIS RAZE BASE
'Israeli troops have been systematically destroying buildings at Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's West Bank base.
'Engineers have been demolishing part of the Ramallah complex housing Mr Arafat's offices and lodgings, where he has been besieged since Thursday night.
'Palestinian officials said they feared the buildings may collapse on Mr Arafat.
'Palestinian witnesses said they had heard explosians and seen soldiers fire at figures scrambling across a bridge.'

What else can it say?
Iraq says it won't co-operate with any new UN resolution.
'[British police] CONSTABLE FACES FIVE CHILD PORN CHARGES
'A police constable has been charged with child pornography offences.
'Pc Paul Thompson of Lancashire Police is accused of five counts of making indecent photographs of children.
'The 43-year-old, from Preston, was arrested on Friday. He has been suspended from duty, said a spokeswoman for the Lancashire force.
'He is due to appear before Chorley magistrates on Monday.'

'[British] POLICE ASK CPS FOR ADVICE OVER CARDINAL
'Police have asked the Crown Prosecution Service for advice on an inquiry involving the head of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales.
'It concerns claims that Cardianl Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, when a Bishop, overlooked a priest's paedophile tendencies — says the Sunday Mirror.
'A CPS spokeswoman said: "Our advice to the police is confidential."
'A spokesman said the Church would co-operate with any police inquiries.'
(BBC Ceefax, p.104)
Apart from the USA, there was a similar case with the leader of the Anglican church in Australia (when he was a bishop).
The Sunday Times says up to 2,000 suspected paedophiles are facing arrest in "the biggest police inquiry undertaken on [sic] Britain".' (Ibid., p.148)
The "on" may be a psychological slip by the writer, indicating that this has been imposed on Britain by the FBI.

'Smallpox Vaccine Guidelines Readied
Emergency Plan To Cover All of U.S.
'By Ceci Connolly
Washington Post Staff Writer
Monday, September 23, 2002; Page A01
'Federal health officials will issue detailed guidelines today for vaccinating the entire U.S. population against smallpox within five days of an outbreak of the dreaded disease.
'Intended as a blueprint for state and local health officials nationwide, the unprecedented move reveals a growing belief within the Bush administration that even one case of smallpox anywhere in the Western Hemisphere would signify a terrorist assault and should therefore trigger a far more massive response than officials had previously suggested, said two experts involved in the planning. ...'

An "executive summary" of Tony Blair's dossier on Iraq can be found at:- www.number-10.gov.uk/output/Page6141.asp. The entire text, should anyone be that desperately bored, can be found at:- www.pm.gov.uk/files/pdf/iraqdossier.pdf, and is in PDF. I did notice that the document has a lot of blank space in it; presumably because it's full of holes.
Blair has no interest in political parties or elected assemblies. He is essentially competing with Iain Duncan Smith over who will be the US cabal's British satrap.
...........
The cabal's (Cheney's?) no. 1 method of Blair-control is — probably — to flatter the man's self-image as "Saviour".
At least 29 people have been killed when gunmen attacked a Hindu temple in Gujarat, India (next to Pakistan) others of the congregation have been taken hostage.
Gujarat is the setting of the BJP-controlled Indian government's experiment in setting up a fundamentalist police state and crushing Islam. Quite likely this attack is another provocation orchestrated by the BJP (perhaps with arms and opportunity presented to genuine Muslim fanatics).

Yesterday in the US Congress, the House and Senate intelligence committees "heard new testimony that FBI superiors and lawyers had frustrated FBI agents' efforts to investigate suspected terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui in the weeks before the attacks on New York and Washington".
President Bush opposed an independent commission into pre-9/11 "intelligence failures" until last week. "But support for the proposal gradually gained ground, partly as a result of presssure from families of the Sept. 11 victims. Recent disclosures of intelligence of intelligence failures by the joint intelligence committees added to the momentum, as did support from the bipartisan leaders of the Senate intelligence panel."

This is the highest Catholic Church official to be accused of personal homosexual child abuse (as opposed to covering-up for others). While personal malice may be at the root of this accusation, yet so high an attack is grist to the mill of the US cabal's quasi-Satanic agenda, and they may well be involved in it.
