LITERACY AID UGANDA
Literacy Aid Uganda is a non-governmental, not-for profit organization licenced by the government of the Republic of Uganda, to  spearhead adult literacy education amongst the less fortunate Ugandans.

With its main office located at Mukono, a suburb of Kampala, the activities of Literacy Aid Uganda stretch far beyond its immediate vicnity.

Founded in 2000, by two Christian women, Literacy Aid Uganda has truly been an extention of the divine hand of God to touch the brains, the hands and mouths of many people who would otherwise have been rendered unfortunate in society.

Hundreds of women and children have been equipped with skills in cookery, pottery, ceramics, tailoring, knitting, painting, basic carpentry, etc.

Indeed Literacy Aid Uganda has become a transformation centre miraculously turning the illiterate into literate individuals, the unskilled job seekers have been transformed into interprenuers, and those who had turned to prostitution as the only means to feed their family have since found new ways of earning a decent income.
