Buffy the Vampire Slayer goes gold

Electronic Arts announces that its TV-inspired action game for the Xbox is complete and will ship later this month.

Electronic Arts has announced that Buffy the Vampire Slayer has gone gold, meaning that the game is complete and is now being prepared to ship to retail.
Developed by The Collective exclusively for the Xbox, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a third-person action game that places the emphasis firmly on combat. There's a certain amount of puzzle solving to be found in the game, but for the most part, players, in the role of Buffy, will be able to concentrate on taking out all manner of blood-sucking enemies in both armed and unarmed combat.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is set to ship on August 19.
