Character Profile:
Claymore:
Claymore is the paragon of the soldier; the ideal grunt. He wishes nothing beyond
serving his team, and does not seek a position of command to further his career.
Regardless of what many of his superiors have termed "a lack of initiative,"
Claymore's abilities as a tactical weapons authority brings with it a heavy
responsibility; it is often by his personal actions that team extraction's succeed or
fail. Estimations (by way of infantry evaluations) |

Claymore appears to
be the "Nexus" of all the symbiotes in the galaxy. Unsure of all that this title
entails, it seems that he knows more about the symbiotes that the team wears, than anyone
else. He also has the ability to control the other symbiotes, and use their abilities. An
alien race, called the S'yrnn were the ones that called Claymore the "Nexus,"
and the symbiotes "Wisdoms." They also referred to Dane and Claymore as the 2
most powerful |

Profile: - (While still in Team 8) Clay is a textbook grunt. A born follower. A very unremarkable, likable man. He is the proverbial little brother. Always willing to try everything, yet never really excelling at anything. Never initiating, yet always agreeing. He internalizes emotions, and rarely displays anger, or any emotion at anything. A powder keg waiting to explode. He shows an easy facility with weapons. The only slightly remarkable thing about him, is his knowledge of weapons of all types, throughout history. He has a collection of historic weapons, and those he can't find and buy, he makes himself. He rarely speaks at all, yet ask him about any kind of weapon, and he instantly becomes animated. Interestingly enough, his interest in weapons does not encompass military history, or military groups. Just weapons-their manufacture and functionality. He has become the Team's weapons mechanic of sorts. His relationship with Jester is akin to that of a big brother/little brother situation. He listens to and admires Jester, probably wishing he was as outspoken and gregarious. They met in boot camp, and Clay has kept up with Jester ever since. Clay is a follower to Jester's leader. There seems to be untapped potential inside him, shown by the extent to which he carries his weapons hobby, and his ability to keep up with anything that might interest Jester. For example, Jester has high aptitude in tactics, and at one point, entered tactics training school. Fearing separation, Clay studied and in three weeks was able to pass the tactical test boards. Yet, when Jester was kicked out of tactical school for misconduct, Clay dropped out of tactical school, and has not shown any interest, or even knowledge of tactics since. As of yet, Clay's potential is unknown. On the surface he appears not to show any remarkable form of intelligence, yet he has been able to elude our attempts to dig any deeper into his psyche. Very much like Mother's ability to do the same. |
