Psyche Profile: - (While still in Team 8)

Commander Dane is almost the perfect soldier. He operates under the "Lancelot Syndrome" with a deep need to safeguard all those around him. He has a deep respect for authority figures, and is very ruthless when need be. It must be said that Dane is a thinker, meaning he evaluates everything
around him. Fortunately, he follows orders first, then thinks. Yet, care should still be taken in how far to push his loyalty. His optimism is his only flaw.

His priorities are: First, safety of civilians; Second, individual status of men under him; and then, the mission. He should be given away missions to eliminate his priorities from getting in the way of completing a mission. In fact, during the only casualty suffered by the Team, he is reported to have
picked up the dead soldier, completed the man's mission profile, and then went on to complete the Team's mission. Since then, he has always worn an ammo vest filled not with extra clips, but with body bags for each individual member of his team. He has promised to never leave anyone on the field. This mindset might compromise a mission, but that has to be offset by the effect
this has on his Team. He enjoys complete loyalty from everyone.

This leads to his most peculiar attribute. As stated, he enjoys complete loyalty, yet seemingly with none of the usual concessions. Off the field, he is a quiet (almost meek) personality, to the point of being almost antisocial. He doesn't give pep talks to his men; in fact, he rarely interacts with them at all. Yet, they do anything and everything he asks of them. There are numerous reports of men being arrested for "defending" his "honor." He rarely shows interest in the female sex, preferring to spend his off-time going over the Team's mission debriefing's and intelligence on
upcoming missions, yet women adore him. He seems a single-minded individual.

There is a mystery that shrouds his early career. He has been part of only five mission failures. Each of which he was the soul survivor. And medical backs up the fact that he can't remember even going on the missions. In fact, it appears he never went on those missions. Yet, records definitely put him on those teams and in those missions. Medical can only conclude a surgical mindwipe. Yet, only the Vampire Nation is capable of such clean, precise
wipes. Dane has no records of any involvement with knowledge of Vampires.
