Beware all of these questions are meant to trick you. All of the questions have a tricky answer. You do not have to be good at maths or English to answer any of these questions. They are not real puzzles or brain teasers, just application of simple logic.

1. You are looking North, facing a chicken coop. The peak of the iron roof of the coop faces East-West and the wind is blowing from the South-East. A rooster lays and egg right on the very peak of the roof.
Which way will the egg fall?

2. There is a hole in the ground measuring 1 metre deep by 1 and a half meters wide by 1 and three-quarter meters long.
To the nearest cubic centimeter, how much dirt is in the hole?

3. On a farm in the country-side there are nine crows sitting on a barbed-wire fence. A farmer comes along with a shotgun and shoots two of them.
How many crows will remain?

4. On a farm there are three paddocks. In one paddock there are seven stacks of hay, in the second paddock there are 8 stacks of hay. There is no hay in the third paddock. The farmer then combines the haystacks from the first and second paddocks into the third paddock.
How many haystacks will the farmer now have?

5. There are 12 pennies in a dozen.
How many half-pennies are there?

6. There is a duck in front of a duck, a duck in the middle of some ducks and a duck behind a duck.
What is the minimum amount of ducks that there can be?

14. A scientist lives in a hut from which he walks one kilometer directly south. He then hikes exactly one kilometer directly east. He then sees a bear and in terrible fright runs for one kilometer directly north back to the hut.
What colour was the bear?

15. An electric train is travelling at 90 kilometers per hour due south. A wind from the north is blowing at 95 kilometers per hour.
