The Doctor meanwhile is attempts to follow his companion and after cornering a kitling he and former army
Sergeant Paterson are transported to the planet where they discover
the Master, who has drawn the Doctor to him to try and
gain his help. The Master is infected by the planet which gradually turns its inhabitants into savage
animals and in turn the increasing violence is causing the planet to move closer to destruction. Midge is overcome
by the planet's influence, and the Master uses him to escape by using his teleportation powers.
Ace has developed an affinity with Karra, a Cheetah women and begins to transform. She uses her
powers to transport the Doctor and the others back to Perivale. The Master causes
Midge's death and kills Karra before transporting the Doctor back to the planet for a final confrontation.
The Doctor refuses to fight and is returned to Earth where he rejoins Ace and heads off for some new adventures.

FACTS:
Comedy duo Hale and Pace played shopkeepers Len and Harvey in
episode one.
This was the last story to be transmitted until the 1996 TV movie, although
'Ghostlight' was the last story to be made.
