Kalasin Dido Yamamoto Ti'Ya-Kuk'Tai

Kalasin Dido Augustus was born to Cherylnobela Sadrini and Theodorus Augustus in the city of Pompeii. She was the youngest of seven children, who were, in order of birth, Elena, Antonius, Marcus, Maia, Sorayn, Dreyanne, and Kalasin herself. She was also the twin sister of Dreyanne Augustus. The family was not actually to be considered one, as Maia was sent to live with the Egyptians before Kalasin was even bron, Antonius died very young, and there was a rift down the middle of the family. Dreyanne, Kalasin and Cherylnobela were almost constantly facing off against Theodorus, Marcus, Elena and Sorayn. However, since Kalasin an Dreyanne were so young, nothing ever came of it.
Cherylnobela was a desert woman. When she was young she had been taken and raped by Theodorus, a Roman military officer, who only received his rank because of his good name. She was banished from her nomad tribe, the Vezrit, and so decided that if Theodorus had gotten her pregnant, which he had, she would make him pay for it. So one day, whilst he was away on a campaign in Spain, Cherylnobela saw fit to show up on the doorstep of his family villa, heavily pregnant, and endear herself to his family. Since she was pregnant with his child, Theodorus’ mother, Romana, set up a marriage between the two.
Upon his return to Rome, Theodorus found that he was married, and had a daughter, whom Cherylnobela had named Kysinda, a Vezrit name. He was chocked, and instantly took charge of the situation, changing the girls name to Elena, and trying to kick Cherylnobela out of the house. However, Romana would not have her gone, and promptly told Theodorus that he would have to live with his mistakes.
So they lived together, and bred together, though none of it was done happily. Cherylnobela, being an incredibly good looking woman, easily the most beautiful in Rome at the time, had a countless string of lovers, the parentage of both Maia and Sorayn was highly questioned. Eventually though, Cherylnobela decided that she had had enough. So she set into action a plan to kill Theodorus. She planned it so that it would not come into fruitation for years, but would be so perfect that no one would be sceptical. During this time, she also gave birth to Kalasin and Dreyanne.
Kalasin Dido was the apple of her mothers eye. Cherylnobela taught her everything that she knew, and never got her mixed up with Dreyanne, her identical twin sister. In turn, Kalasin adored her mother, and was constantly by her side. She learnt many things from her, and took everything that she said to heart.
However, Cherylnobela would not allow her love for her daughter to get in the way of what she most desired, the death of Theodorus.
It became impossible for her not to implement the rest of the Augustus clan in her plot, and soon enough, when a 'plot to kill the emperor' surfaced, it was the Augustus family that was blamed. Cherylnobela had finally gotten her way, they would send some men to kill Theodorus.
Kalasin and Dreyanne were seven at the time. It was the night of the festival of Bacchus and the twins were watching the festivities from the bedroom window of their villa. It was Dreyanne that spotted the troops coming, and she pointed out to Kalasin what she saw. The young girl formulated a plan, something that she had learnt how to do after years of sitting by Cherylnobela's side. She took some of the clothing of the child-slaves that were in the household and made herself and Dreyanne dress as the slaves. When the soldiers rounded up all in the household, both Kalasin and Dreyanne were taken out of the main room and into another smaller one. They could hear the sceams of their family being totured, and they could hear that final words of Cherylnobela Sadrini as she was raped and finally tortured. "You see this Theodorus? This was me. All me"
Kalasin and Dreyanne made their escape while none of the guards were looking and went to their grandmothers home. Romana was only too happy to take them in and raise them, she thought that both of the twins were lovely girls, and would do just abut anything for them.
Both Dreyanne and Kalasin were given the best education possible, given their young ages, and Romana set about finding husbands for them. Dreyanne was a lot more tame than Kalasin, and found a husband when Kalasin could not. Dreyanne was wed the day after their twelfth birthday. During the ceremony, Kalasin saw how unhappy Dreyanne was, and vowed that she would never, ever, become a victim like that.
So she left Rome.
She did not inform Romana that she was going, she didn't even tell Dreyanne. She simply packed a small bag and walked out of the door of her grandmothers villa, never to see her again.
The young girl first wanted to go to India. Since hearing from a traveller of the devi, she had wanted to become one and learn the ways of the healers, whom she had always held the greatest respect for. So she caught a boat to Phoenicia, the first non-roman land that she had ever travelled to. Luckily, her studies had left her fluent in Latin, Punic and various other languages from the area, so she was not completly in awe of the situation around her. She managed to get someone to give her a map to India, and she set off.
Though young, Kalasin was incredibly headstrong, and was determined to get to India. She found every means of travel possible, and was travelling with a small group over a mountain pass when she saw something in the distance that caught her eyes. When she went to investigate, she saw two men fighting. The manner in which they fought fascinated her, and she confronted the man who had won, only rendering his opponent unconscious.
He was called Li Shang.
Quite taken with the gorgeous young girl that had appeared to him out of the snow and demanded to know how he had fought so wel in the air, he decided to take her in. and teach her all that he could. He found that she was incredibly talented in the arts of fighting, and decided to teach her other skills too. He taught her cartography, basic engineering and merchant skills. Kalasin in the meantime also studied his religion and adopted it, since she lived in the monastery with him.
When she was nearly fourteen though, Kalasin got fed up with the life that she was living. She wanted more from life. So she packed her bags and left, leaving Li Shang a note that thanked him for his attentions.
The savage killer in Kalasin had become totally and utterly dominant by this time. All the fighting had brought out the worst in Kalasin, and she was ready to start hacking.
And she did.
She left a bloody trail out east, and turned her attention to the kingdom of Jappa, across the ocean. The boat landed near a city called Himeji, which Kalasin decided would do for her very first domination. She planned to kill the lord, and take over the city from there. By this time she was fifteen years old.
On her way there, she met a group of warriors, four of them. She slaughtered the firs three without any hestitation and then went to take on the fourth. However, it did not work out the way that she planned. The man that she was fighting was far superior to her already magnificent fighting abilities. His name was Hiroshi Yamamoto, and when he had Kalasin pinned to the ground, looking up at him defiantly, he fell in love.
He was the son of Lord Kenji Yamamoto of Himeji, and was engaged to be married in a month. She was not aware of this for a few das, but when she became aware of it, she had to make a choice. Kalasin could either stay with Hiroshi,a nd see if in fact she did love him enough to marry him before that time, or if she would leave then and there.
She decided to stay. Hiroshi had changed her, in a matter of days, from a cold-hearted warrior into somone that he could love no matter what. They were married after having known each other for two weeks.
Kalasin soon found herself pregnant. She freaked out and without warning, left the happy life that she had been building with Hiroshi in Himeji and headed straight to Li Shang, who she knew that she could trust. He took her in, even though he knew of some of the totally hideous acts that she had performed. When she gave birth, it was to a girl that she named Alia.
She knew that she could not keep the child, despite how much she loved her, and so left her with Li Shang, knowing that he would look after her adequetly. Kalasin returned to Himeji, sure that Hiroshi wuold kill her on site, as it would have been the done thing in Rome, and it was the way that things were done in Japan. However, he did not. He took her back as though nothing had happened, and when she asked about it, he said "When the earth stops moving, and when the sky bursts into flame, that is when I will stop loving you."
So they went on, living happily.
One afternoon though, Hiroshi recieved a message from Nara, the capital. The Army of Himeji was to ride against the invading Chinese, who had found that Jappa held many riches in it's mountains, and wanted some for themselves. Kalasin tried to convince Hiroshi to let her ride with him, but he would not, insisting that she stay behind in the castle and take care of defenses. Kalasin did so with remarkable efficiency, but onyl a few men from the Chinese army actually reached the castle.
Hiroshi was lost in battle though, and Kalasin, distraught, went to try and find him. When she could not, she left Jappa again, knowing that the memories there were too painful. She continued her slaughtering ways until she met a demigod, whose name she never learned, that helped her to stop all the pain that she was feeling. However, his lifestyle was not for her, and she went to Egypt, where she met a woman named Sumeria Leona. They did not get along very well at first, but eventually a begrudging respect was formed between them. One day though, the girl annoyed her one time too many, and she left her, heading instead to Carthage, the place that her mothers nomadic tribe, the Vezrit, had come from.
Revenge was the only thing that mattered. Revenge for the death of her mother, and her treatment by the Vezrit. Kalasin wiped out the tribe within a day and then turned and headed to Phoenicia.
It was there that she uncovered the Cult of Anat, and cult that she did not respct in the least. They loathed her with just as much passion, and their best warriors were sent out to kill Kalasin, who bitterly resisted. The savage within her awoke once more, and she slaughtered most of them before going to Rome to become a guard to the Emperor, where she knew that she would make the best living.
Life in Rome was not for her though, and Kalasin found her wandering the earth again, before she came across Hyrcania, a city of the Shatomlic Amazons. Her friend Sumeria Leona was there, and the young woman, by this stage 19, became the Princess of the Shatomlic Amazons.
Hiroshi, who had not actually been killed in battle, found her a few months later. He had arrived back in Himeji a few days after Kalasin had departed, and had been trying to find her ever since. They remained together for a long time, having two children in the process, Yoruko and Arsinoe. Yoruko was sent to Japan to learn the ways of Japan, whilst Arsinoe stayed in Hyrcania with Kalasin.
However, Arsinoe was taken by the god Mars, and was returned to them as a 24 year old woman devoted to the Roman War God. There was a short conflict before the now called Antonia and Kalasin became the best of friends.
However, things were not to remain good for Hiroshi and Kalasin. Kalasin soon found that Hiroshi had been hitting the opium hard, and kicked him out of Hyrcania.
She remarried to Troizen Claudius, a former Gladiator that she met in Alexandria. Their life was much happier, and Kalasin could see herself with him for eternity.
That was until she died.
In her sixth month of marriage to Troizen, Kalasin was called upon by Scipio to kill Hannibal Barca, who was considered a threat to Rome. Kalasin was a loyal Roman no matter what, and decided that she would take the mission and head to Carthage to kill Hannibal.
Upon meeting him though, Kalasin met someone with a mind nearly as brilliant as her own for plotting and scheming. Hannibal was truly a genius, and Kalasin found herself not wanting to kill him. Scipio caught wind of this, and found a way to inform Hannibal of who Kalasin really was. When he was informed, Hannibal ordered Kalasin to be executed, though he had liked her quite a bit. He sent hs soldiers after her, and caught her before she could escape. She was taken to the main port in Utica to be executed by the Carthaginian army.
However, Kalasin was not one to give up. She let the savage killer once again take hold, and rather than die, she let loose all of the poer that was inside of her, effectively killing 2000 of the Carthaginian men in the 12000 strong army that were to march to Zama. She had hoped to kill Hannibal, but failed. The energy draining out of her killed the amazon woman instantly.
It was thought to be the end of Kalasin Ti'Ya-Kuk'Tai.
However, it was not. It was barely even the beginning of what was coming up.
It was about a year before Kalasin was brought back to life, this time by the goddess Juno to serve as what was known as an Enforcer. She was chosen because of her incredible fighting ability, and her seeming inability to feel emotions. As one of her tasks, she was sent to Hyrcania to help fend off an upcoming apocalypse. However, upon her return, the Shatomlic Amazons were not pleased to see her, despite what she thought would happen. After being falsely accused of striking Queen Eumache, and not having the chance to defend herself, she was looked down upon by all the members of the Shatomlic tribe.
And so she continued to do as she wanted. Antonia was dead, as was Troizen, both killed in their pursuit to kill Hannibal for what he had done to Kalasin. She became incredibly promiscuous, and was never seen with just one man one her arm.
However, after learning too much of the horrors that were coming, she was made mortal again by Juno. In order to keep the knowledge from the people that she knew though, insanity was cast upon Kalasin, so that no one would listen to her.
It was Hiroshi Yamamoto that arrived to help her regain her mind, and succeeded. He had become a good man again, and was desperate to have Kalasin back. When she asked him why, shortly after becoming of a good mind again, he replied, "When the earth stops moving, and when the sky bursts into flame, that is when I will stop loving you."
Kalasin's sanity depended on Hiroshi, but because none of the amazons would shift on allowing him to stay with her in Hyrcania, her violent attitudes and swift temper became rampant to the point that no one could stand to even speak with her. Despite what the amazons seemed to believe, she was not completly cured, and they simply could not help her, despite their best intentions.
Finally, she upped and left Hyrcania, unable to take it anymore.
She went with Hiroshi back to Jappa, and after becoming well again, set out once more to see what life held for her...
