Calgary Skyline and Saddledome |

In the background is the Calgary skyline. You will most likely notice the thinner tower. That's the Calgary Tower. You can pay to go up to the top and take a look down at the rest of the city. It's sort of like Shanghai's Pearl TV Tower. In the foreground to the right is the Saddledome. It's a sports arena and is home to the Calgary Flames, a professional ice hockey club. It was built for the 1988 Winter Olympics and is shaped like a saddle, hence the name. |
