the Phonak Trip to Toronto

In late November, a hearing aid company called Phonak flew my class out to the big city of Toronto in order to learn more about their products. They paid for most of our expenses. It was fun, but I was really tired at the end of it all.

Edward and I were put into the presidential suite by some strange stroke of luck. Our classmates all came in to take a look and to take a picture.

The class out for dinner at Jack Astor's restaurant. There was a lot of greasy Western food on the menu.

The company treated us to a great Italian dinner in this lovely restaurant in downtown Toronto. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and so was the music. One gentleman on the accordian and another on the guitar.

You should have seen our faces when the limousine first pulled up in front of us. Our jaws had dropped and we were in shock. It was the first time for me to ever ride in a limousine.
