From the South, Rte. 12: Continue on Rte 12, crossing Rte 101, where it becomes Main St. Go past Keene State College on the Left to Central Square, marked by a rotary in front of the white Church. Follow the blue "H" signs for the hospital and go north on Court Street about 1.0 mile to the hospital on the Left. Continue on Court St. another 0.8 miles and turn right onto East Surry Road, at the sign for Bretwood Golf Course. Proceed 0.6 miles and look for a white Colonial House on the left sitting on a knoll. Turn left at the second driveway; the driveway after the mailbox labeled "Sise". From Manchester, Rte 101: Look for the second light coming into Keene and turn R. onto Main Street. See "From the South" above. From the West: Take Route 9 into Keene and keep going straight at the first traffic light where Rte 9 turns Left. At the third light, Main Street, turn left. See "From the South" above. |

From Concord, Rte. 9: Route 9 comes through Keene. Take the last exit, marked Route 12 North to Walpole. Go one exit north and get off on Maple Ave. Take a right on Maple Avenue, 0.5 miles to the light and right onto Court St. Continue on Court St. 0.3 miles, crossing a bridge over the Ashuelot river, up the hill and left onto East Surry Road, just after a small cemetary. Proceed 0.6 miles and look for a white Colonial House on the left sitting on a knoll. Turn left at the second driveway; the driveway after the mailbox labeled "Sise". From the North: Coming into Keene on Route 12, exit at Maple Ave., just after a long downhill. Turn left on Maple Avenue and go 0.5 miles to the light. Turn right onto Court Street and go 0.3 miles across the Ashuelot River, up a short hill and turn left just after the cemetery onto East Surry Road. Proceed 0.6 miles and look for a white Colonial House on the left sitting on a knoll. Turn left at the second driveway; the driveway after the mailbox labeled "Sise". |
