Gene Watkins did a great job of organizing and supervising the reunion. His efforts were appreciated by all of the attendees. A business meeting was held on Saturday morning and after lengthy discussions a near unanimous vote selected Los Vegas as the location for the 2005 reunion. Leon Levin (cruise 1), who resides in the Los Vegas area, volunteered to take on the responsibility of organizing the reunion and arranging for the hotel, banquet etc.
The following is a list of attendees in San Diego:

There were about 35 sailors with wives/friends somewhere around 55 total. It was a very laid-back affair with no real program. Friday during the day was free time. We had a banquet on Friday night. Sat. a.m. we had a business meeting. The next reunion will B held in Las Vegas the 1st week in October, '05. It will B a beginning of the week affair. Saturday afternoon was on your own--with a dinner cruise at 7 p.m. Sunday was go home day. Everything went well as far as it goes. I'm more of a structured person. I like a schedule.
I have obtained one photo of the reunion activities. Anyone that took some photos and would be willing to share them, send them to me via Email and I will place them on this page. In addition, if you would like to include some comments I will also place them on this page.
