London, Kentucky May 29, 1941 FRED CECIL HELTON SUCCUMBS |
love, liking and respect from many loyal hearts, came to an end Thursday night. For several years he was connected with the grocery business in Macon, Miss., but later received a position with the Industrial Life and Health Insurance Co. Fred Cecil Helton was one of the most thoroughly liked and respected young men ever reared in ths county. He had a kindness and cordiality and attractiveness that won hearts. His business ability was first-class and his character honorable and generous. His death causes sadness in many hearts in many sections of the state. The deceased is survived by three sisters: Mrs. C.B. Taylor, Crane Nest, KY; Mrs. Willard Cottingim, Cincinnati and Mrs. Louie Tesoffe, Toledo, Ohio; and three brothers, Glen, of Himyar, KY; Clarence of Cincinnati and Robert, Jr., of Tuttle. Great numbers of friends gathered at the New Bethel Church where services were held by the Rev. Bige Alder. Pallbearers were Jack Wagoner, Matt Baker, G.B. Sizemore, Charlie Hale, B.A. Parker and Dewey; active pallbearers were Sid Hale, G.W. Baker, Frank Craft, T.H. Brown, Arthur Chesnut and Carter Ball. |
