Hi Glenn: Just browsing and found your website. I knew your mother well and loved her like a member of the family. In fact, my father performed the marriage ceremony for her and your father Tollie Perry. "Aunt Barb" was a favorite of mine. I used to bother her to go into the store for me to buy candy with eggs. Pearl gave me a beautiful doll dressed in a yellow dress. I named the doll "Tolleen" after your dad. I know your mother has been seriously ill for a long time; is she still living? My brother Matt and I are the only ones living left in our family. Come to Blackwater sometime. 2nd Sunday following the 2nd Saturday of June. I would love to see you again. Do you still live in Terre Haute? Best wishes to you and your family. Bernice Cole Reamer

Have been searching my Bowling family for many years with a flaw that my gr grandfather was adopted. He is James S. Bowling, b: 1836, son on John Bowling, 1790. You reported he is Jack's adopted son from Sally Sizemore's relationship with James Jones. This sure puts a kink in my research. Please let me know how you got this inf. Thanks

My name is Sandra Sutton. I am a great granddaughter of William Henry Sasser and Mary Cathrine Jones. My grandfather was Elmer Sasser. The story that Henry and Mary Sasser came to Oregon with Abraham Sasser has proved to be unfounded. Henry and family came to Oregon in 1881. Abraham and family came to Oregon in 1902. I have not done any real research yet but I think that Henry Sasser and family came to Oregon with a weaver cousin.

I enjoyed your website--very nice. I have a Caroline Rebecca Cobb, born 2 Dec 1846 in Missouri. She married James Madison Reid 13 Nov 1862 in Daviess Co. Missouri. I have found information (that may or may not be correct) indicating she was the daughter of an Ambrose Cobb and Nancy Moore. Does this Ambrose connect to your line in any way?

My uncle, Bev. White did some research before he died.He disagreed with something in your research it appears. He has the children of Mary Gilbert by Dillion T. White being John G. White,Beverly P. White,William L. White, and #4 Taylor Gilbert White b.10/28/1870(you have his name as Gilbert T. Dillon White. Taylor Gilbert White was Uncle Bev.'s father and my grandfather) He lists another son who died in infancy B.F. white b.10/29/1873
He also agrees that Mary Lucinda (Gilbert) white later had a son, Chester Marcum by her second husband William Marcum.Any clarification is appreciated.
