One deadite emerges and you unload a hardball on him, catching him right in the eye. Two more come out and you pelt them with hockey pucks and tennis balls. You reach in deep and pull out a hockey stick. Time to do some damage!
In a samuri like fasion you swing the hockey stick around and prepare for battle. One deadite runs in and you impale his gut and nail him in the face.
One jumps out of the above tree. You steady the hockey stick and he is pitched right on it. You try to pull the hockey stick out of his immobile corpse but to no avail, that thing is not coming out. You reach back in the shed and pull out a baseball bat. A sleek, black, wooden bat. Oh yeah. Time to kill some deadites, Louieville style!
You go nuts and swing the bat as if you were Sammy Sosa. You knock the brain matter out of some deadites, you clock the eyeballs out of others. You impale them through the chest, you break the knee caps of them easily. One deadite is ripped in half, another has his head get knocked out of the park. Limbs fly everywhere and you're covered in blood. You lay to rest a dozen deadites in under five minutes. Blood covers the basketball court.
"Yeah, you guys think of this day next time you wanna mess with me!"
With that comes a massive roar from the nearby forest. You may have pissed off the big guy. You steady yourself with the bat ready for action.
Out of nowhere a giant hand made up of trees, branches, and twigs shoots out and grabs you like a rag doll. It squeezes the breath right out of you and you drop your baseball bat in a moment of pain.
The creature's head emerges. It's the same bastard you fought back at the cabin. Last time you needed to suck him into a interdimensional vortex. . . this time all you have at your reach is a supply closet full of athletics equipment.
You no longer have the bat, but you can still reach the shed. You can grab something, but you can't see what you're reaching for until you've got it in your grasps.
