polo in a kayak or basketball in a boat but with more
push and shove and you'll get the idea. Bring swimming
costume and shorts; we provide the technical gear and can

at 2pm on the north side of E7B (where the bike racks
next to the first year Physics labs are) and we will
ride for an hour or two around the bushland near uni.
Sometimes we head south, sometimes north, sometimes
off to Eastwood. All abilities and all riding styles
welcome. Make sure you have some water, a helmet and a
bike. If you have any tools and spares, bring them
along please. If you want to come to the weekly rides

April 6th (Sunday) Come Try Paddling 6.30pm to 9pm
Dence Park pool, Epping. The pool is heated and outdoors
in a beautiful bushland setting. This session is
compulsory for anyone wanting to come on any paddle
sports activities because you will be instructed in
getting in and out of a kayak, ^Ówet exiting^Ô from a
capsized kayak, and self-rescue. There should also be
instruction on basic paddling skills, as well as for
some basic canoe polo game skills. Maybe even some
mini games. Bring $6 to cover pool hire, bathers,
towel, (goggles are optional) and gear for Epping Pub

hours of darknes
This is a 12 hour mountain bike race conducted
entirely at night (6pm to 6am). The entry is capped at
1000 so get in early if you are interested. Teams can
be 2,3, 4 or 6 people. Mac Uni Adventure Sports will
enter as many teams as possible. Don't worry if you
are not fit, riding one lap and then 5 laps off is
pretty easy. If you want to really race, we should

July Iceclimbing in the Snowy Mtns. 2 or 3 day
iceclimbing instruction for members with previous
ropehandling skills ie have rockclimbed and abseiled.
Participants would be camping in the snow, and would
need to have or hire suitable sleeping bags, ski/
snowshoe equipment, and some technical equipment. If
