Age-difference Pairings
(Those with a fair amount of difference in age)
Rika Sasaki + Yoshiyuki Tereda
About a 15 year difference, Rika and Tereda is an official pairing in the series, but it's relationship is distinguished between the anime and manga version. In the manga, Rika and Tereda is supposed to be engaged together (whoa. . .), but in the anime version, it just shows hints of Rika blushing in front of Tereda. Personally in my own opinion, I think this is a rather cute couple. At first, I thought it was really gross, but now that I got to know ccs better, I actually find them really cute when their together!! But, if you're the type of person that doesn't that age matters, than this couple might appeal to you.
Eriol Hiiragizawa + Kaho Mizuki
Yet, another official pairing in the series. It is told that Eriol and Kaho is dating when Kaho left Japan and went to England to reunite with Eriol. Maybe it's because Eriol is the reincarnation of Clow Reed, who had matured thoughts so he would be pairing with Kaho. Again, my opinion on this couple is just plain bleh, since I'm not a major fan of this pairing.
Touya Kinomoto + Kaho Mizuki
What do you know, it's another official pairing, but it only happened in the past. Touya had first dated Kaho when he was still in junior high (I think he's about 14 years old) and Kaho is somewhat older than he is. Sakura finds out about this relationship during the episode where she captures the return card, and she returns to the past where Touya and Kaho was on a date. Umm. . . I think Kaho just have this thing about younger men, but who knows. I don't really actually see many people liking this couple anyway.
Fujitaka Kinomoto + Nadeshiko Kinomoto
Sweet, yet sad pairing. For people who's reading this, you'll say 'of course their a pair!! They're married!!' and yes I agree. But, talking back about when they first met, Nadeshiko was only a junior high student (I believe. . .14 years old??) and Fujitaka is a professor (already!). Because Nadeshiko was climbing up a tree to catch a bird, she accidently slipped and fell on top of Fujitaka, which resulted their first meeting. (Gaahh!! Love at first sight!!) And, Nadeshiko married Fujitaka at the age of 16, and I believe she died when she's about 27 years old. Poor Fujitaka who lost his beloved wife, she still cherished his favorite moments of his wife and showed his love by putting a different picture on the frame everyday. Sniff sniff. . .what a sad couple.
