I've seen only Cardcaptors... anything that I've watch that comes close to even Cardcaptor Sakura is probably the second movie... which I want to see again and again lol... so if I get some info wrong email me; magicaltrio@hotmail.com... But I'm going to try my best to explain Cardcaptor Sakura.
Cardcaptor Sakura is the story of a ten year old girl, Sakura Kinomoto, and her quest of becoming the Mistress of the Clow Cards. Sakura grows up, her life completely normal, her cheerful spirit not fazing from the loss of her mother, Nadishiko Kinomoto, but when she finds a mysterious book in her father's study, her life begins to take a huge turn. After opening the book and releasing all the cards, she finds out from a small stuffed animal like object, which was actually the Guardian of the Clow, that she must recapture all the cards before they begin to reek havoc throughout the world. Feeling a bit uneasy of taking the job and huge responsibility, Sakura finds out that it is up to her to capture the cards, no matter what the costs are. After capturing her very first card, Fly, Sakura embarks on a journey that will forever change her life, along with the help of with Kero and Tomoyo. Tomoyo Daidouji, her best friend, joins Sakura on her quest, following Sakura everywhere with her camcorder and trying to catch Sakura in action on film. Everything is going smoothly, until the series takes a different turn when Sakura meets her rival.
Syaoran Li enters the Cardcaptor's life, first quietly and in the shadows, barely even noticed, but when he was first registered into the school and into Sakura's class, the two were instant rivals. Competing in everything, one not wanting to lose against the other. But Sakura doesn't know that Syaoran is also trying to capture all the Clow Cards. When she finally finds out, the Sword Card episode, when Rika is possessed by the card, things heat up between the two. You can start to see the early signs of Syaoran falling for Sakura... kawaiiii ^.^... As they both take turns capturing the cards. A couple episodes later, Meilin Li, Syaoran's cousin finally makes an entrance into the story. Sometimes she may seem a bit jealous because of the closeness of Sakura and Syaoran, since she is engaged to him.
Sakura and Syaoran both take turns capturing the cards, Syaoran is falling harder for Sakura and Sakura is crushing over Yukito, her older brother's, Touya, best friend. Sakura and Syaoran get help with capturing the Clow Cards with their mysterious teacher Kaho Mizuki. As more and more cards get captured, the time is coming near for the final judgement. The capturing of the cards is finally done, both Sakura and Syaoran have Clow Cards under their possession. The final judgement is a test from Yue, the being inside Yukito, whoever can past will be named the Master of the Clow Cards. When Syaoran fails, Sakura is put up to the test. It's pretty close actually, Sakura nearly fails until Kaho helps her. That's when she changed her staff into the star one.
