One minute she likes him (enough to kiss him), the next she's screaming at him and calling him an idiot. And they're each other's competition to be the best at piloting (actually Asuka's the competitive one -Shinji usually doesn't care); needless to say, Asuka was NOT pleased when Shinji saved her butt a couple of times during battles. But I guess they're usually friends (or at least on speaking terms). Asuka hates her, and well, Rei doesn't really care about anything. To Asuka, Rei (with her lack of emotions and simple compliance to orders) represents a doll; such as the one that Asuka's mother (who went crazy) chose to believe WAS Asuka and strangled before hanging herself. *Misato: Legal guardian; roomate; commander (during battles with Angels) Hmm.. well, Asuka's not very fond of Misato 'cause Misato's her main competition for the affection of Kaji (actually, it's not much of a competition considering that Kaji's like 15 years older than her, and happenes to be Misato's ex boyfriend). However, it's obvious that Misato at least cares for her well being, as she always shows concern when Asuka's getting beat up in battle (though she favor's Shinji). |
