Questions?-11

Gaandhaaree's 100 Sons
Gaandhaaree already had the boon of 100 sons from Shiv Jee, then why did she ask for the same boon from Vyaas Jee?
(see 1/6)

In what form Paandu and Maadree came to Hastinaapur?
Here the description of the last rites of Paandu and Maadree is given. This shows that Rishi brought their physical bodies to Hastinaapur, while in the last chapter they said that Paandu died 17 days ago and Maadree had ascended his pyre.

Both statements seem contradictory. If we assume that they brought physical  bodies then it shows that at that time there was some technique to preserve the dead bodies up to at least 17 days. But then their this statement becomes untrue that "Maadree ascended Paandu's pyre."
(see 2/1)

It is further written that "Rishi left for Hastinaapur with the remains of the two dead bodies."
(see 1/8)

Dark Complexion
In Mahaabhaarat, it is said at several places, that Arjun, Nakul, Sahadev were of dark complexion; Draupadee was of dark complexion; Maharshi Ved Vyaas was also of dark complexion. Drone was also of dark complexion. (1/11) Eklavya was also of dark complexion. (MBH 1/134)

What does that mean? Was there any dark complexioned race at that time in Bhaarat Varsh? Although with these few examples we cannot make any inference about this, because we do not get other people's description, but still it is a matter to think.

Draupadee insulted both Dhritraashtra and Duryodhan
How could Draupadee make a mockery of her elder uncle-in-law? From any Hindu values, she had no right to comment on Duryodhan that "A blind man's son is always blind." Because it was not only Duryodhan's insult, it was the insult of Dhritraashtra too. And if Duryodhan felt insulted on this comment, what was wrong in it?

And, in fact, this was the main reason that he decided to invite Paandav for dice game and to let them down and bear the result for the insult done by Draupadee

Mention of Foreign Countries in Hindu Scriptures
It is not a doubt in fact, it is just a mention for knowledge and information for others.

Normally our Hindu scriptures whenever mention about the world, it seems that it was all Bhaarat Varsh, nothing else. There was nothing else at all. So I was wondering where were all the other countries which we find on our Earth today, in those times?

Tulasee's Maanas and Vaalmeeki's Raamaayan do not mention any country other than Bhaarat Varsh, except Lankaa which also doesn't seem to be actual foreign country, because its guards (Khar, Dooshan and Shoorpankhaa) were living in southern India, because there was no land in Lankaa for them to live so they were protecting their place from here.

Mahaabhaarat mentions about Gaandhaar, but Gaandhaar (Kandhaar of today) was also a part of Bhaarat Varsh in olden days. It is the first time I am reading a foreign country's name in our scriptures - Mahaabhaarat. Its mention shows that there existed this country (China) at the time of Mahaabhaarat and it was supposed to be famous for deer skins. It is really strange.

OR was it a part of Bhaarat Varsh, from where Dhritraashtra could get those deer skins?

Mention of Other States
It is also not a doubt, but just an observation and a mention only.
Karn Parv, 12 mentions some other uncommon states also, other than north Indian states. They are - Keral, Andhra, Kaanchee.

Who Was Karn's Brother?
Karn's brother has been mentioned twice in Mahaabhaarat.

We have never heard of any brother of Karn. Then who was his brother? His name also has not been mentioned, except "Karn's brother".
