Allies of Jaraasandh

Who were the allies of Jaraasandh when he attached Mathuraa. Was Shalya, King of Madra, a part of this alliance? Which kingdoms were allied with Jaraasandh?

You can see Krishn's speech to Yudhishthir in the Raajasooya Aarambh Parv in Ganguli's MBH when he enumerates the allies of Jaraasandh. This is before Krishn, Bheem and Arjun set out to kill Jaraasandh. Mainly I think the allies of Jaraasandh were Shishupaal, King of Chedi Desh; Dantavakra; Bheeshmak, King of Vidarbh Desh and his son Rukmee;  Hans and Dimbak and his powerful generals;  his son-in-law Kans; Paundrak Vaasudev and a branch of the Vrishni Yaadav. I don't think Shalya was the part of the alliance, although he might have opportunistically joined him in the attack on Mathuraa.

Jaraasandh's Daughter Vijayaa
Paandav Sahadev was married to Jaraasnadha's daughter Vijayaa. I had earlier thought this marriage was done after Jaraasandh was killed, but I read now, that during Raajsooya, Krishn already tells Yudhisthir that Sahadev is married to Jaraasandh's daughter. Is it wrong? So how could have Sahadev married to Vijayaa, since the Paandav were always at odds with Jaraasnadh. And if Sahadev was married to her, then Jaraasandh would have been more favorable to the Paandav. Wouldn't he? But also there could be another reason, maybe Sahadev had eloped with Vijayaa. Can anyone share any info on that? The MBH doesn't give all the stories.

Killing of Jaraasandh,
Ganguli's text mentions that Jaraasandh was killed by Bheem by placing the knee on the back and breaking the spine in two. The popular version of the story is Bheem ripping apart his body into two and hurling the two parts in opposite directions as advised by Krishn. So does anyone know how the popular version originated?
