Who Scolded His son at Killing a King
Only two people did that -

(1) Shameek
When Pareekshit was on a hunting trip, he got separated from his people and came at Rishi's Aashram in search of water. There he was expecting that the muni will offer him some thing, but he was busy in his Tapasyaa so he didn't know that the king was there. At this Pareekshit got angry and put a dead snake in his neck with the tip of his bow. When his son Shringee heard this he gave the king Shaap that on the 7th day from that day, He will die from Takshak Naag's bite. When Rishi came to know about this, he was not happy with this incident. He said - "Son, You did not do good. Braahman should not kill a king. A king is always like Eeshwar. One should not kill him."

(2) Jamadagni
When Haihaya king Arjun came to Jamadagni's Aashram and saw Kaamdehenu's glory at a Rishi's place, he could not resist himself and instead of asking it, he took it forcefully. Later Parashuraam Jee came to the Aashram and left the place to bring the cow back. He killed Arjun and brought the cow back to the Aashram. Jamadagni scolded him - "You should not have killed the king without any purpose. We are Braahman, forgiveness is our quality, so we should have forgiven him. Only because of forgiveness, Brahmaa Jee has got Brahm Pad."

Who Went to Swarg With Their Physical Body?
Is it not surprising that people like to go to Swarg with their mortal body, then who and who became successful by going there with their physical body.

(1) he first and foremost well-known name is of Trishanku whom Vishwaamitra tried to send there with his physical body. At last he hung in between Prithvi and Swarg and thus is known as Trishanku.

(2) The second name is from Bhavishya Puraan, 3-Pratisarg-3. Hastee, who inhabited Hastinaapur, had a son named Ajmeedh, his son was Rakshpaal and Rakshpaal's son was Sushamyarn. He also went to Swarg with his physical body.

(3) The third name is mentioned in Bhavishya Puraan, 3-Pratisarg-4. Among the Mlechchh, Hanook was such a person who went to Swarg with his physical body.

Women Who Cursed
Hindu religious literature is full of curses and blessings, normally by men only, Rishi, but do you know any woman who used curse? Here are some --

(1) Ambaa
--In Mahaabhaarat, Ambaa also gave a kind of Shaap to Bheeshm, that she would take rebirth to kill him; and she did take rebirth as Shikhandee.

(2) Urvashee
--In Mahaabhaarat, when Arjun goes to Swarg to take Divine weapons from his father Indra, Urvashee feels attracted towards him and she offers herself to him; but Arjunsays that he had never seen her in that way. He always saw her as his mother (being the wife of Pururavaa - his ancestor). That is why he could not think even to marry her. At this she cursed him to be a eunuch for his whole life. But later this curse was reduced to only one year, and that also whenever he wished to be a eunuch. Indra did this with purpose. When Arjun had to hide himself during A-Gyaatvaas, he used this curse.

(3) Gaandhaaree
--In Mahaabhaarat, when everything, the war, finished and Paandav went to see Dhritraashtra and Gaandhaaree, Gaandhaaree wanted to give Paandav curse, but Ved Vyaas Jee came at the same time and requested her not to curse them but to bless them.

--Still, although Gaandhaaree did not curse Paandav verbally, but she could not resist herself to look at Yudhishthir's feet from behind her cloth strip. So she only cast a glance on the feet of Yudhishthir from behind the cloth strip and his toe went sour because of her glance. Such was the power of Gaandhaaree.

--Then she gave Shaap to Krishn, the God, that "You will be the killer of your family. After killing your family you will die in a disgusting way in the wilderness.

(4) Ved Vatee
--There was a woman named Ved Vatee who gave Shaap to Raavan that she would take rebirth to take revenge of his misbehavior. She also was born as Seetaa and became the cause of Raavan's death.

Duration of Some Great Wars/Fights
Although we find several wars in our mythological literature, for example Mahaabhaarat war; but some more war/fights are also worth mentioning here, just for knowing sake -

(1) Raam-Raavan War (87 days)
This war took place in Tretaa Yug. According to Padm Puraan, it continued for 87 days. It stopped for 15 days in between continually.

(2) War Between Krishn and Jaraasandh (17 times attack)
This was not actual war, but it is still worth mentioning that Jaraasandh attacked Mathuraa 17 times and each time he attacked with 22 Akshauhinee army. And each time he was defeated and his most army was destroyed. It is only the 18th time, when his attack was coinciding with Vaanar Dwivid's attack, so Krishn ignored him, constructed Dwaarakaa Nagaree in sea and transferred His people there for their safety.

(3) Fight Between Bheem and Jaraasandh (28 days)
When Yudhishthir intended to do Raajsooya Yagya, he found that Jaraasandh was the only one king who was not defeated yet. So they made a plan to defeat him by asking alms in the form of a dual fight from him in disguise of Braahman, because he worshipped Braahman. So Jaraasandh got ready to fight with Bheem. This fight continued for 28 days.

(4) Fight Between Krishn and Jaambvaan (28 days)
When Krishn found that Syamantak Mani was with Jaambvaan's child, He tried to take it, but at the same time Jaambvaan came and the fight started between them. This fight continued continuously for 28 days. Later Jaambvaan recognized Him as His Lord Seetaapati Raam and married his daughter Jaambvatee to Him.

(5) War Between Krishn/Pradyumn and Shaalv (27 days)
Shaalv was a friend of Shishupaal. When Shishupaal came to marry to Rukminee, he also came with him. And when Krishn won Jaraasandh, He won Shaalv also. The then Shaalv vowed to kill all Yadu Vanshee people. For it he worshipped Shiv and got a wonderful Vimaan from him. Riding in that Vimaan he attacked Dwaarakaa and started destroying it. This great war, between Pradyumn and Shaalv, continued for 27 days. At that time Krishn was in Indraprasth for Yudhishthir's Raajsooya Yagya. Seeing bad omens there He came to Dwaarakaa and killed Shaalv.

(6) Mahaabhaarat or Kurukshetra War (18 days)
It was between Kaurav and Paandav, in the end of Dwaapar Yug, and fought in Kurukshetra area. Most Kshatriya were killed in this war. It continued for 18 days.
