Dwivid was a Vaanar son of Ashwinee Kumaar. They produced two sons, Mayand and Dwivid at the time of Raam and Raaven in Tretaa Yug. 

Dwivid was a friend of Bhaumaasur (the son of Prithvi and a friend of Kans) and was a minister of Sugreev. He fought very bravely in Raam-Raavan war. 

He continued to live in Dwaapar Yug. When he heard that Krishn has killed Bhaumaasur, then he got very angry. He became a terrorist and started destroying things in and in the vicinity of Dwaarakaa Puree. 

He was as powerful as 10,000 elephants. He was killed by Balraam Jee when he was teasing Gopee.
