I can imagine that anyone reading this will agree with me that with the bombardment people receive from societal influences to have sex makes maintaining your virginity very difficult. You may be even asking, "why on Earth would I even want to stay a virgin?" Well, I'll tell you.

God, the creator of sex, didn't wish for His gift to humankind to be abused. To engage in sexual activity outside of His original directive is wrong.

Some people think that God must be a cosmic Grinch or killjoy, who delights in taking the pleasure out of life. Far from it. Once you are safe within the confines of a lifelong commitment of marriage, feel free to enjoy sex to its fullest and be assured that you have God's blessing.

Another way to look at it is this. If you desire your mate to be sexually pure, and I can't think of anyone who wouldn't, why then can you possibly allow yourself not to be? Your virginity is a precious gift, one which can only be given once. Think of how much more special that gift will be if it remains untouched until the moment you and your spouse lie together safe in the bed of marriage.
