Dr. Zheng is a Faculty member at University of Toronto, and McMaster
University. He specializes in family medicine as well as the management of
terminally ill patients. He is also an expert providing consultation and
training to other hospitals and community agencies to promote culturally
and linguistically appropriate care for patients of Chinese origin. He
currently holds a Director position at Yee Hong Centre, and Staff
Physician at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Zheng was born in China. He graduated from Fudan University in
Shanghai, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and University of Toronto. After
his doctorate degree, he went to Massachusetts General Hospital at
Harvard Medical School to complete his post-doctoral research
fellowship. During this period he and his colleagues contributed articles
to various medical and scientific publications. Dr. Zheng has been in
clinical practice in Toronto for over 10 years. He is the first Chinese
physician to receive the Professional Tribute Award.
About Ms. Jia-Chee Chong, Clinic Administrator
Ms. Chong is a graduate from Brock University with B.A. in Business
Administration. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Malay and
Cantonese. Ms. Chong has extensive experiences managing medical
clinics and health care related operations.
About Dr. Berton Ung, Staff Physician
Dr. Ung is on staff at The Scarborough Hospital, and Yee Hong Medical
Centre. He specializes in family medicine and the care for terminally ill
patients. Dr. Ung is also a certified accupuncturist. He was trained at
Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
About Dr. Fiona Liu, Physician Assistant
Dr. Liu is a graduate from Zhejiang Medical University in China. She is a certified specialist in Obstetrics/Gynaecology in China. Prior to her immigration to Canada, Dr. Liu was employed as staff Obstetrician/Gynaecologist at Tianjing First Central Hospital. Dr. Liu has extensive experiences in antenatal care, postnatal care and labour-delivery.
About Dr. Jackie Mao, Physician Assistant
Dr. Mao is a graduate from Fudan University in China. She is a certified specialist in internal medicine in China. Prior to her immigration to Canada, Dr. Liu was employed as staff cardilogist at Zhong-Shan Hospital, and World-Link Medical Centre in Shanghai.
