Hypocritical Parents Maybe it's just be but I hate it when my parents go "Amanda honey, don't swear and say bad words..." And they go around and do it behind our backs! What do they think we've learning it from? The TV? Or when they tell us to not make the same mistakes they did but don't let us make our own problems to learn from them! Or when they take something away from us that we care A LOT about and they expect us to be happy about and then punish us more when we aren't. Or when they say "I'm doing this for you." And your opinion is completely different from what they're thinking. If your doing this for me then listen to me!! What am I suddenly a distant memory? Or when they say "What do you want?" You say "I want..." and you tell them only you're thinking that it's more then I want, it's like you need it! And they say "What are you talking about!! That's insane! What do you need a psychiatrist!?" Or when you're on the phone for a long time and your parents are yelling at you to get off the phone so they can have it! You get off the phone and they're on it for 4-5 hours and there's nothing wrong with it!! Or when your parents till you in a relationship with you're family everyone is an equal. Everyone's opinion matters and everyone can get what they want. But when you're doing something and they say no and you ask why they say cause I SAID SO! Yeah, THAT'S really teaching me how to treat people fairly. Or my personal favorite. You're going shopping and you find some really nice shirts but you don't have any money. So you're mom says "Oh try it on and if it looks good I'll buy it for you!" So you try it on, she says "Oh it fits you so well!" She buys it for you to wear and you go home. A couple of days later, you wear the shirts and she goes "OH MY GOD! YOU CAN'T GO OUT DRESSED LIKE THAT! YOU LOOK LIKE A S***!" Riiiiiiiight... Hypocritical parents. ... ... ... suck the big one...
