Tour
of PaintShop Pro
Next,
we go onto the "View" menu -
this is where you can see how your image
is progressing.

The "Full Screen
Edit" option lets you see the image
you are working on without the toolbars
and it lets you make changes to it while
you are looking at it. Make sure that if
you use this option you have a way to
close the image in one of the buttons.
If you have gone into this option and your
toolbars have disappeared, don't
panic! There *is* a way to get out
of it - just follow this mini tutorial
By
clicking on the "Full Screen
Preview" option, you get to see what
your image is like against a blank, black
background so that you can get an idea of
how it will look outside PSP - I use this
option all the time to make sure my
graphics all look like I want them to.
The
"Zoom In by... " and "Zoom
Out by..." options let you zoom into
one particular part of your image so that
you can see it in more detail.
If
you click on the "Preview In Web
Browser" option, you can see what
your image will look like when it's
online. Clicking on this option will
open up your default web browser so that
you can see what it looks like in a
webpage.
The
next block of options ("Rulers",
"Grid", "Guide" and
"Change Grid and Guide Properties)
help to give you guides to sizing while
you are working with your image.
By
clicking on the "Toolbars"
option you can access various different
toolbars and palettes that PSP can
display. I'll go into more detail
about how you can customise the toolbars
the way you want them in a tutorial about
customising PSP.
