Prelude Cassidy nervously paced back and forth across the living room as she waited for her boyfriend to pick her up for their date.  They had been together for almost two years but she knew the moment that she met him that he was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.  He was her best friend, her soul mate.  Jeff traveled on the road a lot with the WWF - he was one of their biggest superstars.  She missed him terribly when he was gone, but she completely trusted him.  But this news was big and she wasn’t sure how he would handle it although she was quite sure that whatever his reaction, they would get through this together, the way they always did.  She had rehearsed how she would break it to him a thousand times in the mirror over the past four days that he had been gone but still she was nervous.  Her heart skipped a beat when she heard his car pull into her driveway. "Calm down.", Cassidy told herself, "It’s Jeff.  He loves you."  A smile lit her face as she greeted him at the door. "Hey baby.", he said enveloping her in a long passionate kiss. "Wow.  Maybe you should stay away more often.", she said kissing him back and pushing the front door closed. She began to lead him down the hall to their bedroom, but he stopped her, "Not now.  Shannon, Shane and Matt are in the car."  Cassidy sighed, "I thought we were going to be alone."  "I know, but the guys wanted to go hang out.", Jeff said giving his girlfriend the sad puppy dog eyes.  Still she pouted.  "I’ll make it up to you.  I promise.", Jeff said in a sexy voice as he kissed her neck.  How could she refuse?  She’d waited this long to tell him, a few more hours couldn’t hurt. "Okay.", she said giving in with a smile. "That’s my girl.", he said kissing her again before they headed out the door and climbed into Jeff’s car.                        Next Chapter .. * ..
