The Belted Kingfisher, the mascot of the Heritage Society, may be seen fishing near the Bubble Pond.
The Osprey, a migratory bird, returns to Manuels River each year and can be seen near the Flat's Area or along the shoreline diving for fish.
The Northern Coral Root, a relatively rare but inconspicuous flower, grows close to the waters on the lower section of the river.
Sea-run brown trout, salmon, brook trout and other species are common in the Manuels River system.

Watch Your Bobber Race Festival
This Festival, held in August, is a fun-filled weekend that attracts
hundreds of people to the river system.
Visitor Chalet and Craft Outlet
Please drop by to view interesting displays and exhibits. Souvenirs and
local crafts are available for purchase. Staff can provide tourist information
of the town and surrounding region.
